DISCLAIMER I cannot tell you my name because i am still currently employed by Diversified consultants inc DCI for short. i want to tell you the thing you dont kn ow about diversified consultants and the demoralization of its employees. during office meeting the assistant gm adam felty numerous times has threatend the whole office numerous times. Adam has gone to the lengths of telling an employee who wanted to go to HR on him that "HR dosent mean sh*t to me i overide HR" Adam has stated to the entire office" if we get another lawsuit we will shut dci portland down.

i dont give two sh*ts if we shut this place down wont eeffect me none. i'll just go back to jacksonville i dont give a f*ck about you or your family aint no stoner f*cking hippies gonna effect my family. You aint sh*t to me and if you dont like it theres the door" its this constant mental abuse that has caused me to venture to this website. all collection agencies are governed by the fair debt collections practices act aka fdcpa it is a set of rules that all collection agencies must abide bys that must be paid to you. the most common fdcpa violation is not removing wrong numbers.

if they dont abide by this they are fined 1000 dollars depending on your state. i will give you an example a man called in and asked for his number to be removed we never removed the number. we called that number over 100 times after that. dci was sued and lost. if dci calls you record yourself askeing them to remove the number then turn that into an attorney and keep track of the times they call you.also if an automated voice calls you and asksfor you to call back that is a fdcpa violation.

also if the rep does not say" this call is an attemp to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose only. this communication is from a debt collector." witin the first 60 seconds you can sue them big time. supervisors steal payments from reps. I.E. Kyle horn a current supervisor at dci took a large payment somewhere around 1500 to 2000 dollars and told the rep that he would give the payment back. Instead Kyle split up the payment and gave it to his two other top reps. it is accepted at dci and i have been told by another supervisor that you can get away with murder if you hit budget.

Supervisors will steal other reps from different tems payments and not give them back Favoritism is an accepted culture at dci. another supervisor by the name of Gary Chamberlin (if thats how its spelt) demoralizes his team and when he was just a has collections rep he would get payments from the girl that he was hooking up with. as a supervisor gary has slept with numerous employees. it is really a f*cked up company ive worked for other agencies and this one takes the cake for worst collection agency. they are constantly pushing thier employees down further. if you have to call in for a sick day they make you feel like your lazy and your faking it.

The only people who actually make money ther are scot beck and phil corn. scot beck is the cfos brother who dosent talk to his debters dci gives them payments. they even said that they are special and get specia;l treatment. obvious workplace favoritism. Dci has even been sued by thier own employees for 1,000,000 and won. what did dci do you may ask well they didnt pay them for all the overtime that they worked. the only compitant supervisor there is kelly. if yyou get a call from dci follow these steps and you will be a very rich man or women. please take head to this post and help shut dci down. get your recorders ready.

#6 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Defending DCI? Hypocrites...

AUTHOR: anonymous60120 - ()

POSTED: Thursday, June 27, 2013

Well, let's start off with the fact that this report is completely true, and the defense of Diversified Consultants, Inc. is a joke. I say this for two reasons. First, Debra, whom is one of the favorites, AND one of the largest sources of gossip in the building, did nothing but complain, whine, and moan about how much she wanted to get out of that place. Second, if you work(ed) there, you should have two ears, two eyes, and should be able to tell how unprofessional this place is.

I have worked in Customer Service and Collections for 7+ years, and have worked in some shady places. I have been treated like garbage, forced to work horrible schedules, driven into the ground, and put up with call center politics, but this place puts the icing on the cake. Walking into work made me nauseous. Dealing with most of the trashy coworkers they hire was absolutely ridiculous. The ex-stripper that they hired, whom sped through the parking lot, hit the back of someone's car, and then proceeded to get out and scream at them would be a perfect example. (The ex-hooker/ex-stripper had absolutely no insurance. She should have been kissing butt, not screaming) These are most of the people they hire, because Kelly, the trainer with a ridiculous attitude and more rolls on her back than Pillsbury could make, waits until the last possible minute to hire the first people that walk in the door. Trash, that is the majority of DCI. Not all, just the majority.

The job itself is not glorious, it's collections. It's stressful enough. However, when you add a 600+ pound Adam Felty to the mix (Fat, horrible man, who thinks he's better than everyone else), along with Kyle Horn (attitude of a 15 year old punk gamer, whom is in his late 20's I think), Blair whatever-her-last-name-is (Really disgusting, can be sweet, but can be a real c u next tuesday to her team, and waddles around the office with a gut/butt combination that looks like two pigs fighting under a blanket; Oh, and she's banging Kyle Horn), and Brandon nobody-cares-about-him as a newly rehired supervisor, this place was completely unbearable. It was run like a sweatshop. If you were having a good day, they treated you great. You have a bad day on the board, they would treat you like crap. Getting up and going to the restroom would get you a dirty look and some crass remark from the supervisors.

This combination of people created hell in the workplace. The tension in this place literally made me sick. Not to go into too much detail, because I'm getting sick thinking about it. Everyday, all I could tune into was the yelling and screaming at employees. Either for not doing well enough, or making a simple mistake. I remember my first mistake ever on Gary Chamberlain's team. He treated me like I was a moron when I was fresh out of training. Adam screamed at everybody in a staff meeting regarding the ridiculous amount of lawsuits, basically saying F*ck your jobs, if you don't do well, Hugh and I go back to Jacksonville, and all of you are out of a job. This kind of treatment was normal from him, and the rest of the office. Kyle would pitch child-like temper tantrums, and would blatantly make fun of employees on his team on the call floor in front of everyone. Kyle actually said to my coworker, which she told me about later, that she was having an allergic reaction to something, tried to tell Kyle about it, and he said, "Allergic to what, Latex?"

I'm all over the place with this post. This could be because I have done my best to forget about this place, and block it from my memory. I don't think I can really say much more without getting physically ill. My last day was the day that Adam said, "F*ck your jobs." That was the last straw, and I left early because I was SERIOUSLY nauseous, and the thought of spending one more day in that hell hole was not an option. I walked right into Brenna Prater's (HR, really sweet woman in the midst of a really horrible company. She deserves SO much better) office before my shift on a Wednesday to lay out why I quit. She is hidden in an office and truly never knew what went on out there on that call center floor. Her jaw dropped, she wished me the best, and of course said I would have a good reference. (This is why I remain anonymous.)

By the way, the FDCPA violations of this company are completely true. We were told constantly, especially if it was close to break, lunch, or end of shift, to hang up on customers if they weren't money. The whole point of collections is to get a picture of the debtors' financial situation, recommend a payment plan if they couldn't pay/settle in full, and educate them on the negative effects of credit reporting and debt. Luckily, I learned the correct way to do collections way before this place, and did not fall for their, "Hang up on them, they have bad credit, and are worthless human beings" mentality. Employees are semi-abusive to debtors because that's how DCI likes it. I had a supervisor call, in which Kelly, the TRAINER, actually grabbed the phone off of my desk, said, "Are you going to pay this bill?", Customer said, "Heck no!", and Kelly then said, "Good luck!" and slammed the receiver down. This is why this company should be shut down.

The horrible reviews written about this company are true, and it doesn't matter who comes to DCI's defense. Too bad we couldn't stage a massive walkout, but there are people that are there simply because they have mouths at home to feed, bills to pay, and haven't found something better.

And this is a special message for Debra... You b*tch, complain, moan, whine, gripe, scream, rant, etc... about this place. Now today, you're defending it on a public forum? You two-faced twit. You're writing this for one of two reasons:

A: You're trying to kiss DCI's butt for no reason. You're already a favorite that gets things handed to her.

B: You're high out of your freaking mind on pills. You must have hit the oxycodone pretty hard to be saying nice things about DCI. Hypocrite.

BTW, clean your "stuff." It stinks I've heard, and that's certainly not normal.

Good luck current employees. I do miss about 3 of you.

 Best Regards,

Employee at a MUCH better company that provides a decent wage and great benefits.

Ransoms a joke

diversified consultants is a place of peace to me. I'm a current employee and without DCI Im scared to even think of where I would be. It's i extremely unfortunate that you have to put a company who does nothing but strive for their employees and make us the best wecan be, down because why? You're disrespectful To the company. I want to thank every single supervisor we have at DCI for doing everything they continue to do on a daily basis. without The supervisors we would have a really hard time at DCI all the stuff that you mentioned about the FDCPA above is ridiculous because we work so hard to remove the bad numbers and when somebody doesn't remove that number they get removed from the company therefore don't sit here and make our company look bad when you're the only one who's trying to report that we are a bad company on that note this is ridiculous and I love DCI and every single employee that we have in the Portland office. The only reason that Adam is so passionate about the company is because of everything the company has done for him how about instead of bad mouthing him strive to be somebody like him who is caring for the company compassionate about what he does and will do anything to help somebody who's in need of help and who actually wants it. DCI is somewhere that I look forward to going to every single day I don't have any problem with any person there simply because we're a huge family once you start disrespecting people and you are careless is when you want no longer be a part of the family. and if this is how you try to get back at us and that's extremely sad and it shows a lot about you as a person.

Before you start accusing others of giving away slolen payments or whatever you are stating.   Please make sure you have all your facts straight.     Dont put my name out there and say things that are simply not true.   I work very hard everyday to do the best I can do for DCI and for myself.   I hit budget because I work my a** off each and everyday.   I dont need the help from others to succeed, I can do that simply on my own.

So to end this conversation, You dont know what you are talking about, so just stop talking.   Your making a fool out of yourself.   If you dont like your job, MOVE ON!!!!!!!   Stop dragging other people down with your nasty comments. And BTW...   Im not hiding being ANONYMOUS!!!   Why are You!!!!!

Are you serious? Your going to get onto this forum and bad mouth the same company that had provided food to your plate and probably a roof over your head. DCI gives you endless opportunity and you turn around and slam them because your disgruntled? Childish and down right disrespectful! If you hate your job....leave!!

I have worked with diversified Consultants since August 2012 and these statements are false. The management team is always up training on the laws and how to best handle situations. Collections gets a bad enough rap without someone adding lies to the mix.

you have to be joking u are one of the employees that Kyle gave a stolen payment from a former employee. this is what happened each supervisor has a personal quota that they have to reach. Kyle horn was not in his personal budget. one of his rep got a very large at@t payment it was over 1500 dollars Kyle stated to his rep let me borrow this so I can hit budget well guess what Kyle never gave thr payment back and he split the payment between two of his rep one of them named Debra the other I wont name. so talk about how DCI makes you feel but dont back it up with facts. im sure Kyle remembers Hugh chewing his a*s out and almost firing

RESPONSE TO THE FABRICATED UNTRUE COMMENTS ABOUT DCI

AUTHOR: Debra - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, June 18, 2013

My name is Debra.   I am currently employeed with DCI.   I have to say I am in total disbelief about what I just read.    I can only sit here and wonder why would this be written.   I give everyone and everything the benefit of the doubt.   I try to see the big picture....   honestly I dont see that here.   I see someone who is angry,  the things that are being said are just simply not true.

The personal slams on the reps and sups, the comments of negativity, the comments of vulgar language, all of it is just not true.   I sit in the company monthly meetings.   Call me dense, call me stupid, but none of it was ever said by anyone.

I will not get into a long drawnout discussion on this. whats the point, people will believe what they want to believe.  Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.  As am I....     So with that said.   I will end this rebuttal by simply saying.

AT DCI THERE ARE 70 TO 80 PLUS EMPLOYEES IN ONE ROOM WORKING FOR THE SAME THING AND TRYING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.   WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT AND SIMILAR IN ALOT OF WAYS.   WE PASS BY AND SAY HI, OR JUST SMILE... BUT WE ALL MAKE IT WORK.   WE ALL WORK AS A TEAM, WE ALL HAVE EACH OTHER BEST INTEREST AT HEART.   IF THATS NOT A WORKING COMPANY... I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT IS.   SIMPLE AS THAT.

Debra
