Diversified Consultants Inc. claim to be working for AT&T to collect an alleged debt, Jacksonville florida

Diversified has been harrassing us for about 6 months now claiming to collect an AT&T bill they said has not been satisified. I asked for an invoice, gave them my email address and mailing address but got nothing.

I checked my old AT&T account and it shows nothing either.

Their agents violate the federal law that says collectors must not use derogatory speech, demeaning speech nor harrasssment to try to obtain a collection.  They do all of the above!

This morning they called my wife rude, and all she asked them was "how did you get my number?" The "lady" on the other end then railed on her and lied saying they have no way of knowing how they get numbers, adn said "if this isnt the right number, then just *****ing say so!"

6 months ago my wife went through the same scenario and asked them to remove her number from the call list, and that time they just said, "well! humpf" and hung up.

They call my number and when I answer, they just hang up right away.

I want the calls to stop, and the "ding" on our credit reports removed. If AT&T has an alleged bill for me, then AT&T needs to contact me about it. If it is legit I am more than happy to pay it.

But this harrassment is illegeal as all get out.
