Divorce Source Owner TK Long ripoff did not refund money that they 100% guarantee to do instead put me in collection Allentown Pennsylvania

I ordered a book online from the divorce source. It had a 100% money back guarantee. It was a book that was downloaded right to your computer. I did it and as soon as I did I knew it was not what I was looking for. So I followed the direction on getting my money refunded to me. I called the phone number that was on the site and was told by the women I was all set.

Now that I have had time to think about this whole thing I now relize she never did ask me my credit card number but I thought she must have had it listed in the computer under my name. I then got my credit card bill. The charge was on it. Now by this time I had no computer to get online to look up the infomation, I had no phone number or anything else for that matter.

So I called my credit card company and told them the story. They said they would look it to it for me. They did and called me back and told me I was all set they credited my account. Now this was in June 2004. In August I got a letter from a collection agent. Now I have perfect credit and have NEVER not paid something. I was very upset.

I called the collection agent and talked to them. Told them the story and they told me to write it all down and send it to them. So I did. NOW I heard nothing else from them so I thought I was all set. Until I got another letter asking for money from the collection agent in March 2005.

Now thats what 7 months later with NOTHING in between. I call them again. They tell me to call the company BUT they dont have a number or anything else for me to call or contact them, which is what I was told before. That I dont get how can you collect money for a company and then have no way to reach them.So now that I do have a computer again I went on a search. And after much looking I found them and a phone number.

I called and talked to the owner of the company TK Long. He was very rude to me and unhelpful. He told me several times during our talk that he had to go. Threating to hang up on me. He said that there is not record of me calling him to cancel the book. That all he has is the fact that I had my credit card comany take the money back so when that happens they just put that person into collection no matter what. He told me just to pay it and deal with it and hung up on me.

Really nice don't you think. So here I am having to pay for a book that should have been refunded but either someone in his company messed up when I called about the refund or they are just a scam. He could do NOTHING to help at all.So I am now stuck with this messing up my credit report and having to pay it to get rid of it cause this company is a total rip off.
