DJ SIDEREAL (@DJSIDEREAL) messaged me on twitter saying he loved my work and wanted to promote it on his upcoming mixtape. I was naturally flattered and his following seemed to be genuine. He rattled off a few big names that he is working with but stayed away from mentioning specifics. Little did I know that he is everything wrong with the music industry.

After taking my money and telling me the playlist will be dropping that weekend during a big show he is performing at I never heard from him. After the weekend I messaged him asking what happened with the promotion as he did drop a playlist that weekend but my song was not on it. Needless to say I was pissed since I wasted my money (almost $100) and I was not going to get the buzz that I had hoped for with the promotion.

I have since gone on to find out on this site and a couple others that I am not the first and that DJ SIDEREAL (Samuel Matthews)(@DJSIDEREAL)(#DJSIDEREAL) has been running this scam for years. I would never wish bad things upon anyone but people like him make me absolutely sick. I believe the music industry and the world in general would have been better off if his brain cancer got him.

That may sound harsh but f*ck this guy. He will get what is coming to him one day. I was not going to post this and was just going to brush it off but after a few months since the ordeal I am even more pissed since I recently heard about another artist getting scammed by him. My only wish is that aspiring artists can see a scam coming and will hopefully read these reviews before having any involvement with him.

If you are currently working with DJ SIDEREAL (Samuel Matthews) then do yourself a favour and cut him off. It's only a matter of time before this snake f*cks you over as well.
