Here is the letter I'm sending to the company once I know my check could not be cashed.

I almost fell for it, your company's lies and deception. I will give you this from what I seen in a simple demonstration, Halon is a good product but the sad thing is it's in the hands of a company that completely lack any morals or ethic's! You are a completely dishonest to everyone you try to recruit! Then you want them to stoop to your level of deception so they can repeat the vicious cycle of lies and trickery for that is the only way they could ever obtain an office manager position! There is more dignity working at McDonald's than your company, at least that is an HONEST living. It may not be much but it's HONEST!!!!! At least McDonald's product is affordable yours is NOT! You ask outrageous $$$ for your stuff and expect the average American that is already struggling to pay bills to buy hundreds of dollars of something they already don't have the money for! You teach your people to lie then they teach their people to lie, hence the vicious cycle continues because you prey on the on the desperate that really need a job!! For you are the Devil with the mean's of possibly saving lives with Halon, but not without a very hefty price the average Joe must pay for it and cannot afford and the other hefty price for the recruits must become dishonest if they want to succeed with your Satan ran company. If you really wanted to do some good in this country, you must stop being so greedy and deceptive. Oh I get it it's all about money, you can't have any moral's if you want to obtain every single penny you can pinch out of society. You trap recruits with the belief that $165 is a deposit for the kit, make them believe the money is easily refundable but it's not. Then trick them into signing a contract of purchase so they feel trapped to stay so they can try to get that money back and you know that kit is not worth $165 so if they walk away, you still made out on the deal. If they don't stick around to make YOU more money, you figured out a way to sell $15 dollars worth of stuff for $165. I'm thankful I cancelled my check in time, it cost me $28 for stopping payment but that's better than losing $165! I'm not done with you. I will make sure the whole country will know what you are. I will post you on the internet in every possible place I can and unlike you I DON'T LIE! You give a good thing like Halon a bad name. Thanks to what I have experienced with your company, I will never buy Halon.

The Company's Side ...

AUTHOR: ajg77 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, January 31, 2010

I won't bother even trying to respond to some of this rambling, incoherent letter (like the part where you compare us to Satan for example) but you did bring up some things I would like to address.

"You ask outrageous $$$$ for your stuff ..."

We have less than 25 items in our product line.  The vast majority of those products are less than $100.  Most are less than $60.  Many are priced between $20-$40 (My girlfriend, her daughter and I just spent $31 at Taco Bell lol).  The most expensive is less than $200.  Every single product we offer has the capability to save a life.  Some would say that is priceless, but even the most sceptical of people like yourself would have to agree that those costs are worth the price of a life.

I guess really after re-reading your letter that is pretty much the only point you were trying to get across.  That our company is greedy and just trying to make money.  You're half right.  Like any company in the world, we want to make money.  Our products aren't free ... no one's are.

We don't lie about them, we don't mislead people.  We are not affiliated with the devil (he wouldn't like our fire safety equipment).  Those who have purchased our products haven't complained.  Those who have unfortunately been in a situation where they needed to use our products haven't complained.  Those who actually work for our company sure haven't complained.

Some people just like to I guess, sometimes for no real reason at all.
