I bought a car here because it was referred by an aquaintence. I had previous went with St. Joe Motorsports and didn't like the vehicle I got there. The salesmen were nice of course. I got a 2002 Vehicle that had over 163,000 miles and they charged me around $7,900. They say they don't go by bluebook value so I guess they come up with an amount out of their heads. They claim the money is for reporting to credit bureaus and limited warrenty and other crap.

I don't even have the option of declining the warrenty if I wish. In less than a week I had to pay $170 for new plugs, wires and a flush so the car could run properly. Then around a month I had to spend over $100 to get the ball bearing replaced because it just fell out of some part of the hub.  I had mentioned this to the sales men they told me to tell a lady at their man office in Clearwater, MN.  She asked me to fax it in, so I did. So said they don't give refunds or something close to that.  Told me I could subtract that amount off my payment.  So to me it sounded like they were going to eat the cost. Today I get a letter in for a deferred payment. I still have to pay back the amount that I didn't make on Novembers payment.

I've had this car for a month and a half and already had to pay almost $300 in repairs.  She said if I would have done the repairs their then it would have not cost me.  Of course they don't tell you that. The bearing issue was urgent, I was getting the brakes inspected when the bearings fell out so there is no way I would have been able to drive with out it getting fixed.  What ever you do even if you have bad credit do not go with these people.  They over charge you by thousands of dollars and make you out to be the stupid one.

"They over charge you by thousands of dollars and make you out to be the stupid one."

"..they charged me around $7,900. They say they don't go by bluebook value so I guess they come up with an amount out of their heads."

This is NOT a Ripoff, they set a price and terms and you took it.

"I've had this car for a month and a half and already had to pay almost $300 in repairs."

A car with 163,000 miles IS going to have problems.

Hope you enjoy your new car.
