First, I would like to say how hard it is to write something like this because you can't always tell the whole story so there are a lot of other problems with this company that I have experienced. Please take everything into account before purchasing their services.

So I purchased Doba's drop shipping service a couple of weeks ago and everything about it was disappointing. First of all, I did look around for reviews but didn't really find much which made me a little weary at first but I still decided to try it out.

After I had the free trial and I knew that I could export
the products into a file specifically made for my shopping cart (Go Daddy Quick
Shopping Cart) I decided to purchase so I could sell their products on my
company's website. As many of you know, times are very hard and the reason for
doing this was because they offered a lot of popular products that are hard to
get without buying an excessive amount of bulk.

After agreeing to the terms of paying $59.95, I went into
the product export to get started as fast as I could so I could start making
money. But wait, here pops up a window saying that product export wasn't
included in the $59.95 price! So now, I have to upgrade to the $69.95 plan. No
problem ... not too big of a difference and I'll probably be able to get enough
profit to make it worth while.

So I clicked on the box to upgrade. It said since I already
payed the $59.95 that I would only be charged $5.00 to upgrade to the $69.95
package, which kind of fooled me at first because I was wondering how $59.95 +
$5.00 = $69.95? Anyways ... I continued.

1 day later I looked at my bank statement because I was
planning on ordering stock that day for the orders my website had and I saw two
charges from Doba! One for $59.95 and one for $69.95. This screwed up my whole
bank account and I wasn't able to order stock for the orders I had pending on
my website. (Please keep in mind this stock is totally unrelated to Doba).

So I called, which by the way they don't have a number on
their website so their phone number was hard to find. I was told no problem it
was a glitch in the system and that the $59.95 charge would be removed. After
the phone call ended, I decided to get on the Doba website and finally start my
first export.

The product export was not available during the free trial
in the format for GoDaddy so I wasn't really able to see what would happen when
I tried it because it wasn't formatted the correct way. Well, when I did the
first export, I clicked on the DVD's, Movie's & Games category. Then I clicked
the button that said "select all" and then I clicked select every
page. When I clicked the proper export for Godaddy, it told me that I could
only export 9999 products at a time, which was no big deal because I was just
testing it out anyways. So I clicked continue.

When the file was fully saved to my computer I went into the
GoDaddy Quick Shopping Cart and clicked on import. When I imported the file it
very quickly said upload successful. This seemed odd that a file with 9,999
products was uploading so quickly but I disregarded that and went to my store
preview. In the store preview it showed 2 products! These products had no
pictures either and a very short description that didn't tell much about the
products at all.

Now I was upset. I'm paying $70 a month for this service and
it's not even working correctly. So I called Doba again to cancel. Keep in
mind, this was one day after I approved the charge.

When you call Doba, there is a phone system. This system
will tell you whether or not they are open. It will say "Thank you for
calling Doba. Your call may be recorded for quality & training purposes. We
ask that you have your retailer ID ready ...." and it will continue. If
they are closed, it will say "Thank You for calling Doba, we are currently
closed..." and then it will continue on to say their business hours.

When calling Doba to cancel (1 day after signing up), their
phone system thanked me for calling and I realized they were open. After it
said everything it needed to, I was told to please hold. I sat on that phone
for over 10 minutes waiting for an answer! Now realizing how frustrated I am
right now by how hard I'm hitting the keys on my keyboard, I should've not even
waited that long. Finally, I was forwarded to their general mailbox where I
shared my frustration with their services. I stated that I was unhappy that
they didn't answer the phone during their business hours and that their service
was not working correctly. I told them my retailer ID and that I wanted to
cancel my account and get a refund for the service that I could not use. I left
my name and number and told them to call me back if they had any questions.

Later on that night, I figured that a message might not work
to cancel the account so I decided to call back the next day. The next day I
called and called and called, but still the phone just rang with no answer.
Still, the phone system says they're open and it WAS a weekday.

After calling back several times day after day without an
answer, I finally figured that they probable got the message and just cancelled
the account out.

So ... I looked at my bank statement yesterday after having
to place another order for stock and what happens? I can't do it again because
Doba decided to pull out another $70 two weeks too early! I signed up for their
service on March 15 and then they charged me then and then again on the 1st.

I decided to give 'em another call. The fun was about to
begin. This time, somebody picked up. The same person I talked to twice already
when I had to call Doba (once for technical issues and once for the double
charge). I began to suspect that this business was a one-man show. I explained
to the "representative" that I called and cancelled the service way
back in March and that I never received a refund and that I was charged again!
He told me that he remembered talking to me and he looked up my account by my
phone number. He said that the second charge of $70 on April 1 could be removed
as a courtesy but they would have to keep the other $70 on March 15. This
really got me angry. I asked him if he was having a hard time with money and
that he counted on somebody to help him out by ordering a service to make
things easier and they didn't do anything but take more money away from you how
would that make you feel? He didn't have an answer. All he said was that I
agreed to the terms that were set forth about Doba when I signed up.

Well .... let's talk terms and conditions

RIGHT ON DOBA'S WEBSITE: We are so confident with our
service that we offer a 100% money back guarantee if you are unable to recoup
on your initial purchase in product sales by the end of your membership.

Does that sound like a money back guarantee to me? Sure
does. So this guy is telling me that the reason that the product files are not
working is because it's on Go Daddy's end. He's still trying to defend his
company after all of this. He said that Go Daddy doesn't allow images to be
linked to the product imports/exports. That's when I said, "Ok, even then
it doesn't explain why 9,999 products turned into 2." He still didn't have
anything to say about that either. He said it's on their part not theirs. He
was raising his voice over mine so much that I couldn't even explain myself to
him.

I am seeking my money back for their crappy service that
they supposedly have a 100% money back guarantee on. Again, I would like to
thank you for taking time out of your day to read this. I hope this helps you.
There is a lot in here that I wasn't able to add because it is a long and
dreadful story, even worse than I made it sound here. I want you to save your
money for something worthwhile. This is not a good investment if it isn't going
to help you in the long run. I lost money and that's the exact opposite of what
their service was supposed to do. It is really hard to write something like
this and it takes a lot of time out of somebody's day so I would like all of
you to take into account that just because there's only one bad review from me
may only be because nobody else had the time or effort to sit down and write
one. Good luck to anyone who decides to go with Doba. I wish you the best but
all I know is that I'm glad I didn't lose more money. Just think, I almost
signed up for their annual membership.
