Perhaps it is to do with the fact, that most other items that salesman are asked to sell, are items which you would immediately know yourself, if there was something wrong with the item. A torn, or marked suit would automatically be rejected by a customer. An item of jewellery in a reputable store wouldn't be in the store, if it was not of the correct quality, as the store has a reputation to uphold. The sales people therefore, have no reason to try, and sell you something, for more money than its actual worth. The cost of the product already matches the item's value. In a store, the sales person makes more money from the greater number of sales he makes. Profit isn't connected directly to the item on sale, itself.

These man here are scam artist and come from the GMC Dealership out of the " Bay " As a team they will scam you and you will think you are getting a good deal but lies after what you thought was good! These man make you belive its a real deal and sucker you to sign and kick you out ......thinking later something is not right! With cars, things get a bit more complicated. There is, so much to a car, so many underlying issues they can have. The customer may not be aware of them until they buy it, especially if it is a used car.....Stay far away from this place because you will lose big time. If the car company is independent, there is more opportunity to fix up a car to a presentable level. It may still have underlying problems, which would decrease its value. A customer won't have that instant awareness, that this item may, or may not, be of good value. All those used cars are all " MARKED UP MSRP STICKER " making you think you are getting a ( Sweet - Deal) But, Its 3,000 More on the price! Wow!! What a scam and racist place using Mexican people coming down from Richmond to change the Dodge Store into a scam and full of lies and " Only " hire ....Family!! Look for yourselves and the truth is in the ( Showroom) How do we stop these kind of people from coming into Davis? If a scamming salesman wants to increase his profits substantially, he might think nothing of selling a car for a great deal more than its true value. The more he sells it for, the more he will stand to profit. I cant understand why the owner " Jim " would allow seach a scam at " LARGE "!! Why let greed be the reason to a normal life style as a leader of a dealership? I think this is a type of salesman that is a bit outdated now. Most car companies, even for second hand ones, are owned by a larger company, with a reputation to uphold. There are not, so many small, privately owned car lots, where the owner, and sales people, have free reign. Most companies are better regulated in today's society. 207 Views · View Upvoters Promoted by Salesforce Is your marketing all mapped out?

My experience here at Dodge in Davis was the nightmare of my life. Its a small world and what comes around comes around. These people are scamming all day long and putting time into crime and making cash off false numbers. Im not trying to blow there cover or "Let the city know there are bad people " running Dodge here in davis. Im just sharing so others wont get taken advantage of with the real price of the cars.

Take this info below and see for your own wisdom.... Financial services, insurance, banking, stock brokers, pharmaceutical sales, defense technology sales, enterprise software and IT in general, advertising media sales, real estate, investment bankers, landlords, contractors, and many other forms have plenty of shady scam artists if you’re looking at if the client benefits rather than just the seller. But those transactions are hard to know how they worked out especially for unsophisticated buyers (which given who falls for enormous software offers that never work out as sold, buyer sophistication falls apart and lots of lying is clearly at play.) Only about 12% of American adults say they will even consider any sort of sales work, and that’s typically thinking of standing at a cash register in a retail store waiting for customers to bring up their choices which is hardly selling. It’s around 3–5% that will actually do the tough work involved in selling anything, that’s why the compensation is usually much better and tied directly to performance unlike most employees (who are terrified of being paid for their actual results.) Salespeople, like managers and entrepreneurs (a great deal of crossover there), have a "high tolerance for ambiguity” while the other 80% of the population have a low tolerance, they want certainty and security at usually a quite high personal cost. You may find your best salespeople are ones who’ve tried selling intangibles (life insurance, financial planning, services, etc.) and would be delighted to be able to sell a visible, touchable, usable product (much easier) to people who arrive on the car lot at least considering a purchase rather than cold-calling people at home or work.

Learn More David Johnson David Johnson Answered Mar 9, 2017 · Author has 175 answers and 131.2k answer views Because they are, and sadly most of them are proud of it. Let's look at your example, shoe salesmen. How would they be able to scam you? Tell you a size 10 is actually a size 11, I think you would know as soon as you try it on. Hide hidden charges for the shoes, polishing fee, insurance for accidental damages or early wear out? I think that would be hard to pull off. Now lets look at car salesmen. Tell you that they have done a 10,000 point inspection and every thing is in excellent working condition. How would you know if they're telling you the truth? And if anything breaks they tell you it was fine when they inspected it. You lose. Playing "Hide and Seek" with the auto contract with warranties like VIN Etch, Permaplate, undercoating, and excessive charges like Doc fee's, dealer prep, delivery charges. Tell you that you are buying bumper to bumper coverage for an extended warranty, except for a list of about 100 things that aren't covered. Plus if you don't go to them for all of your servicing (which costs far more than most garages) you have to prove you did all of the maintenance. And if you have proof they'll claim they didn't use the right part or oil. You lose. I could go on but I think you can see they have earned the label. Here's an video about VIN etch that shows you they have no integrity.

THIS GUY IS FAKE AND STOLEN FROM MY BUDDY JAKE

AUTHOR: Jake - (United States)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 17, 2018

I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THIS. THIS MAN BOBBY FALCON IS A SCAM TO THE DOWN TOWN CLUBS. This guy is a loser and scam artist after taking my credit card and charging me way more than what the bill was the last time I was there on a friday night. I had a personal talk with the part owner Bobby Falcon and he lied about everything that came out of his mouth on the issue I wanted to adress to the bar that he backed up there story. I let it go and moved on because i wanted to have a good time. But after reading this article I thought my story would help stop this freak show!.

Tonight, the latter is prophetic. The velvet rope separating the "abnoxious” from the rest of us is struggling to contain a show-stoppingly beautiful black woman, who is shouting at the door staff. I was trying to get inside because the streets where packed and the line at the Flamingo House was long as hell.... "They know me. They invited me down here. And now they don’t want to let me in because of my colour,” she yells. "Don’t deny the fact that black people are poppin’. You play our music. Do I need to say any more?” Bobby just watched them treat me wrong and then said the black word you dont need to say.... " N " word that I heard him say in the staff ear!! He walked over to and starting telling me off the - wall crazy stuff.

When I talk to the 24-year-old, she explains why she is so furious at being denied entry. "I’ve been standing in the line and seeing bare white people going in before me,” she says. "Personally, I think this is a colour thing. Black people are not allowed in Down town Sac Flamingo House .... I swear to you. The way This is how it works for me, you’ve got to look like a certain something – you have got to be white, tall, really slim.” She describes herself as an "influencer” and says she does not want to be named because she fears the consequences to her profile. But, she continues: "I’m a party girl, I go out all the time. And as black women, we are always being disrespected – we can’t go out there and have a good time, without them reminding us about our colour.”

Bobby knows who we are and this in plane prejudice and they scam others from the credit cards they use on file over charging others and taking drugs in and out the doors of this club. I have a freind he hired who is a Ex - Con and sold drugs to white people ONLY....because black people cant be trusted and would tell....well I am telling and sharing what a freak show this place is! In this sentiment she is not alone. Last month, another young black woman, out clubbing to celebrate the end of her exams, alleged that she was charged twice as much for entry to Drama as white girls in the queue. The club denied that this was the case, saying that both white and black members of the group were charged So much for entry. Be aware of this place and Go to the MIX!! What a Ripoff!!

STOP THE LIES AFTER LIES ....MARKET VALUE IS YOUR COVER UP WITH A FALSE NAME. THIS IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT! SCAM AFTER SCAM & LIE AFTER LIE!!!

AUTHOR: Dick - (United States)

POSTED: Sunday, September 23, 2018

I have been a long-standing customer of theirs for at least six years now. On March 19, 2012 I contacted them to see if they would be willing to give me an estimate for some service work on a relative's furnace. Initially the rep (Debbie) And Alex the sales MG was full of lies and trying to cover up for eachother.....said they don't do any service work unless that relative has an account with them. But they made an exception and sent someone out....for which I was grateful because my intent was to ultimately open up a second account for my relative with HJohn. The service tech showed up at my relative's house that same day. After diagnosing the problem and pouring some cleaning powder on the oil tanks (a process that in total took no more than 15 minutes), he went to his van to (what I thought) write up an estimate on what the repairs would cost so I can then provide that to my relative. When he hands it to me, he also hands me a bill for $175.00! I was in complete shock because ALL I wanted was an ESTIMATE for future service. He said by default they charge $125.00 just to come out...and the additional costs were for the powdering he did. He said there was nothing he could do and advised I call the office. Alot of the sales team there at Dodge are " Hispanic" and give me and my wife the creeps after stearing my wife down walking across the show room floor! Thats another issue in that department. So 10 minutes later, I did. And Debbie was absolutely NO help...to the point of talking to me like I was a child. She said it wasn't her intent to mislead me, but that "no one does something for nothing." The fact she would even make a comment like that really got to me. i tried explaining to her that my initial call was just for an ESTIMATE, and that they WOULD have gotten ten times that amount for the service work and potential contract when my relative was ready to move forward with the repairs. I told them I would consider cancelling my account if they don't work with me, and she had nothing to say except "this is what it is"...and "there is nothing they can do". I am extremely upset with them for leading me to believe they were going to do what I wanted (come out for an estimate) only to then get billed $175.00 for 15 minutes of time...a fee that was NEVER disclosed to me when I made the initial call. I am even more upset that they did nothing to try and work with me...a long-time customer who has easily paid them more than $10,000 over the years. I will never buy a car from this Hanlees again!! They are not honest and take your money anyway they can. So I submitted a letter via fax to H. John Davis on the very same day (March 19th) indicating that as of April 1st, I no longer want to be a customer of theirs. I had pre-paid my fuel back in August 2011 in the amount of $2651.32 and signed a contract with them that was valid through March 31st 2012. According to the terms of that contract, I would get penalized if I cancelled the contract prior to March 31. Despite the fact my letter was for cancellation as or APRIL 1, they are STILL penalizing me .75 cents per gallon of the unused gallons I had pre-purchased. I called them on March 22, 2012 and asked Debbie to tell me exactly where in the contract it said I would get penalized this fee after April 1st. She couldn't give me a straight answer and said it was because I was not authorizing any more oil deliveries between now and April 1. So not only have I lost $175.00, I have now also lost another $328.00 for this penalty fee that I should NOT have to pay according to the written contact. I am at the point where I am ready to take them to small claims court. My previous customer-service history with them has never been fantastic...and this is just icing on the cake. I am absolutely disgusted at how little they care about keeping a long-time customer satisfied. And please note - unlike other people who complain about everything, I have NEVER posted a complaint like this for any company I've dealt with in my lifetime. H. John Davis in Mt. Pocono Pennsylvania is the first company that has pushed me way too far.

It’s a Free Market

AUTHOR: coast - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, September 20, 2018

Most of your long-winded verbose report is not relevant to your complaint. You appear to be dissatisfied with the price of the vehicle; therefore, you are suffering from a case of buyer’s remorse.

Market value is a matter of opinion. Merchants are not obligated or required to sell their goods and services at or below market value. There is no limit as to how much above market value a merchant can sell their goods and services. It’s called capitalism.

Nothing in your report supports your claim that you were scammed. Happy motoring!
