Truck towed in monday July 21, 2014 Freightliner has a policy to diagnose problem, or at least a mechanic look at truck and give estimate of problem with in 2 hrs. This was not done. Did not see mechanic till 8 days later Tues 7/29/14.                

Told automatic transmissions inertia brake bad would cost $3000. Ok, with repair. Thurs 8/31/14 told repair did not fix problem would have to open transmission and inspect. I flew back to home shop in sc pu another truck w good transmission core drove back to San Antonio. Gave freightliner core and instructed them to put new inertia brake, and other good parts FM old unit onto new core.      

 After couple weeks told truck rdy. Parked borrowed truck in sc flew to tx pu truck. I tried to start truck to test drive. Could not start w out starting fluid. Had no problem starting eng before this. It had massive fuel leak FM warranty fuel line repair I did not initiate. Was told by service writer would have to pay $8700 bill then will do another repair order for new problem.  After demanding that I test drive truck first, the mechanic that did the warranty fuel line installation, repaired the fuel leak and was very courteous. 

Freightliner overcharged at least $1500  they would not show justification for charges only demanded the full amount be paid. I  had to pay to get truck back. 5 weeks FM tow in to drive out.  Will never go to this freightliner again.  Beware.
