Dolan Moving & Storage I'm not sure how the owners sleep at night Brookfield, Connecticut

Dolan Moving & Storage contracted with me to hold approximately $7000 worth of furniture in storage.  In April, 2009 I contacted them to remove some items from storage.  For five months they made up various excuses why I could not get into the storage unit.

Finally in 9/09 they admitted they had lost the unit and needed to file a claim with insurance.  Within a week I supplied them all receipts as well as a request for all storage fees to be refunded.

It is now 8/2010 - 16 months from my original call! - and I have not received payment for the lost items nor reimbursement for storage fees.  Each time I call I speak with Amy the receptionist and her pat response is "Oh, I thought that was taken care of, I'll leave them a message."

When I've requested the direct phone, email or mailing address of the owner George Dolan she has refused and told me that was at his request.  To this day the owner has never taken one of my calls.  I have received no written acknowledgement that the claim was even processed.  I have continued to speak with the Amy on a fairly regular response.

I have filed claims with BBB and the Attorney General's office and both these organizations were ignored as well.

I am at a complete loss how anyone can run a business and treat people like this.  It is disgusting!
