Dominion Towing Fairfax towed my legally parked car from a guest space, then lied when confronted. They stated that they weren't going to listen to my "bulls***" and that I either paid them $165 or I wasn't getting my car back, then hung up on me. Fairfax Virginia

Fairfax Dominion Towing Company towed my legally parked vehicle from a (24) hour guest space and lied, stating that my vehicle had been in the same space for over a week and towed due to "visitor violation".  

My vehicle is moved frequently, therefore was not in the same guest space for over (24) hours. In anticipation of a guest space not being available when I arrived that afternoon, my girlfriend had gone to the rental office earlier and had gotten a two day guest pass which allows a guest to park anywhere in the complex.

Upon arriving that afternoon at the complex, I noticed that there was a guest space available, so I parked there instead of using the guest pass.  

I noticed my car missing at 2am and called the police.  I was given the number for Dominion Towing and immediately called.  The man that answered rudely stated that he had towed the car since it had been in the same guest space for over a week.  When I tried to explain that he was mistakened, he stated that he wasn't going to listen to my "bulls***", and that I had to pay $160.00 or forget about my car.

Btw, there is no sign displaying that vehicles will be towed from guest spaces if not moved within (24) hours; we were informed of this by another resident of the complex.
