Done Rite Roofing Done Rite Roofing Doesn't Do Right Palm Harbor, Florida

After I signed and returned a contract to Done Rite Roofing, they selected and scheduled a date for work to begin. The job was for dry-in and installation of a new roof on a home addition as well as replacement of roofing over part of the existing structure. Done Rite did not show up on the scheduled date as promised. Done Rite did not call to indicate a change in plans. Done Rite did not return our numerous telephone messages left with their answering service.

When I finally spoke with Done Rite, they assured me that someone would be out that same day. No one came, and no one called to say they would not be coming. There were heavy rainstorms that evening. As the new sheathing was not dried in, water poured into the new addition area. Additionally, water leaked into the walls and ceilings of the existing structure. Water was pouring out of the ceiling light fixtures and seeping through the ceiling and walls.

When I talked to Done Rite after the storm, they claim that the roof would have leaked even if the dry-in had been completed. They deny any responsibility for the damage caused by the rain. Done Rite has indicated that they are no longer interested in this job and will not be doing anything further.

Done Rite failed to perform the service for which they were contracted on the dates they promised. Their negligence has indirectly caused substantial damage to my property. Done Rite Roofing has clearly demonstrated that their approach to customer service is not Done Rite.
