I'm really sorry Donna got sick the other night, it's one of those things that happens, and thank god she's ok.

That said, everyone (Donna Summer, Fahn & Co. Productions, Cache Creek and Ticketmaster) should all be ashamed of themselves for the way they have treated ticket holders. THEY ALL have left us, Donna's fans feeling ripped off, angry and hurt.

I too had tickets (6) to Donna's show at Cache Creek. The runaround being given ticketholders by Cache Creek and Ticketmaster is criminal. Ticketmaster won't give any refunds because the promoter, Fahn & Co. Productions informed them that once Donna sang one note, she performed so no refunds. I paid almost $450.00 to see Donna Summer do her ENTIRE SHOW. Not just 20-25 mins- 10 of which was her husband.

No one has any contact info for Fahn & Co. The BBB, yellow pages, State of California- No one has any contact info. [Apparently promoting shows in California is a fly by night thing. No licensing required]

Cache Creek is useless. The left everyone hanging the night of the concert, to be harrassed by their security. Then to offer a free buffet dinner. Not one of you out there would settle for that. Hell, they can't even get their story straight if Donna was hosspitalized or not.

As for Donna, where is she? (Oh yeah, that little statement she made, I almost forgot) It's her name and reputation at stake. Since it's gonna come down on her in the long run, You would think Donna would show a little concern about the treatment of her fans. Yes, venues are booked in advance... But she could at least say "Maybe we can do a makup show", something, at least show some real concern instead of just ignorining the situation.

I doubt if it even crossed Donna's mind what happened to all the fans who paid good money to see her the other night. After all, she got paid in full for doing the full show. [ Per Cache Creek, she got paid in full, up front]

What Donna's silence says to me is: Donna knows how little she performed that night, and aparently Donna agrees with Fahn and Co. that as long as she sings one note she has performed. Donna must also feel that her fans being thrown a "free meal" and treated like dirt is ok.

WELL, IT'S NOT OK WITH THIS FAN!
As a die hard fan who has stood behind Donna through thick and thin for years, it would be nice for Donna to step up to the plate and do whats right..

Ripped off and angry.

My only regret was for not responding sooner, but I was just made aware of the story regarding our Donna Summer concert on www.ripoffreports.com today. In the 7/6/06 posting from Jim in Berkeley, regardless of the source, the quotes attributed to Fahn & Company Inc. are not only inaccurate; they are simply untrue. His report contained several key inaccuracies. I would like to set the record straight regarding the Donna Summer concert on June 30, 2006 at Cache Creek Casino Resort.

Donna Summer performed for approximately 56 minutes of her scheduled 70 minute set before leaving the stage to be administered to by paramedics. This is in addition to an opening comedian, Howie Nave and an intermission. According to her printed set list, she had performed all but 3 songs scheduled. We have no control over the artist. We simply produce shows to the best of our abilities. If she would have played only a song or two, we definitely would have offered refunds. Being that the artist played approximately four-fifths of the show, she was entitled to be paid.

In addition to offering a complimentary buffet meal to anyone with a ticket stub from this concert, Cache Creek Casino Resort offered a complimentary ticket to any of their many other upcoming similar stature concerts or events.

For the record, Fahn & Company has produced well over a thousand concerts and events for more than 20 years. We have produced many events for and/or with respected corporate clients, government agencies, professional sports teams and broadcasting companies throughout the U.S.

Fahn & Company and Cache Creek Casino Resort still felt bad for any inconveniences regardless of the exaggerated claims of Jim from Berkeley. Since his writing, I believe any complaints that were presented to the casino have been resolved favorably. We are proud to say that we have a good continued relationship with not only our patrons, but also the artists that we have worked with for more than 20 years. It is the goal of Fahn & Company, as well as Cache Creek Casino Resort, to make sure our customers are treated with respect and feel satisfied with their experience as it relates to our concerts, and will continue the feeling as we produce professional shows in the future.

Thank you for the contact info for Fahn & Co. Unfortunatly they seem to be a fly-by-night company. Both numbers are disconnected. They are now operating out of Sacramento and are not listed in the phone book.
