Double D Puppies Fraud, False Advertising Seibert, Colorado Internet

 After the death of our beloved Greyhound, we searched the Internet and found a breeder advertising purebred Greyhound puppies. Of course we fell in love with the adorable photos. The breeder, Sally, was pleasant over email and text. We ultimately decided to make the journey several hours from our home to purchase a puppy. The first issue was the shady way we had to pick him up. The breeder drove the puppy to a gas station and we did the deal in the parking lot. We were not given the opportunity to see the dog's parents or how/where he was raised. As the puppy grew, he started to show longer fur, not characteristic of a Greyhound. I sent the breeder an email and she stated the father might have other breeds in his background. I asked to see a photo of the father, to which I never did receive a reply. Upon having the animal DNA tested, we learned he is only 62% Greyhound - a far cry from purebred. Another 12% was found to be Scottish Deerhound, and a further 26% cannot be pinpointed. The puppy has a pleasant disposition and has always been healthy. However if you are looking for a purebred dog, I suggest you look somewhere other than Double D Puppies.
