*UPDATE Employee ..inside information: Management does have authority
*General Comment: You must be silly
Beware of the Hilton Doubletree hotel located at 100 The City Drive in Orange, California 92868. Women do not go there as a guest. Many women have been assaulted and raped by security guards coming into the restrooms of the lobby and breaking into the guest's rooms. This is not a safe hotel. Many of the security guards are perverts who use child pornography, and have sex offender convictions.

Management does have authority

The management of any hotel does in deed have authority to change rates. Hotels change their rates every day and give different guests different rates even. Its the business. I worked for a DoubleTree and Hilton is just the franchise.
Owners buy the buildings and furthermore many times they hire management groups. The General Manager of the Hotel as well as Front Desk Manager do have the authority to give any kind of discount or refund they want. it happens every single day. This member needs to file a complaint with the Hilton Honors Desk to go above the hotel itself. Nothing will be done if they dont.

You must be silly to think that ANY member of managment has the authority to override a corporate descion. I say this because every Walgreens I have been into has been owned by Walgreens and not a franchise. As such no one in managment gets to change the prices. Thats all handed down from the corporate office, normally on a Sunday as that is the day traditionally that new sales go into effect. As for there only being one cashier, guess what, corporate controls their labor dollars as well. This means that Walgreens corporate tells them EXACTLY how many ppl they get to have. You seem to have a issue with ppl in managment. I think you FAIL to realize that a managers job is to MANAGE!!! Not be your personal cashier because you had to wait in line like everyone else. You must have a VERY large ego to assume that everyone is at your beck and call. You are also VERY ignorant of how corporate stores work. That being said, yes the prices MAY be higher but the manager has nothing to do with it. Youre blamin the wrong people in all of this because of your ignorance.
You have no idea of that managers work load. You have no idea how much work the manager has to do. So you sitting there and claiming that managment and other staff are enjoying themselves in the backroom yet again comes from YOUR ignorance. You fail to account for issues such a state mandated breaks, labor laws ect. I suggest that the next time you post you do it from a strong position of KNOWLEDGE!!! Because ANYONE reading this post would assume your some old busy body mad at the world that you frittered your life away and take pleasure in bitching at anything and everything.
