Douglas bought a $400,000 yacht ( Hatteras "Stingray 3" located in Texas and contacted me and another USCG Captain to deliver his vessel to Miami on Dec. 19, 2004.
In the worst kind of weather and nearing the Christmas holiday, we delivered. He gave up a check upon delivery and the phone number for a cab. By the time we returned home he had stopped payment on the check and refused to answer phone calls to resolve the problem. We filed suit in Florida and Mr. Slime has managed to cut us at every corner, all legal but the sign of a true pro. Now I must go to Miami to refile the suite and expences have already exceeded the check. He moves the boat and his address and business name each time the law gets close. I missed that Christmas with my family and I will hunt him to the far corners to bring him to justice. Don't walk but run from this scumbag and to the sheriff's office. DON'T GIVE HIM A CHANCE TO SCREW YOU!
