Douglas marketing LIED ON THE PHONE TO GET ME TO INTERVIEW!! UNEMPLOYED BEWARE North Attleboro Massachusetts

I received a phone call following up with a application I filled out for a office position.  The lady on the phone was nice and clearly stated the job would be filling out paperwork, answering phones, data entry,  and light clean up.  500 a week!!  I was ecstatic.  Exactly what I was looking for.  But it was about  1 when she called and I was in dartmouth (about an hour away from where she wanted me to interview.)  she wanted me the for 4. I called back apologized and asked if she could squeeze me in the next morning.  I went about 50 miles to North Attleboro to interview.  I walk in the building and I see a bunch of teenagers, music blasting I should have turned around right then.  But I stayed for the interview. The same lady interviews me and tells me the job description again now the jobs entails going door to door to strangers houses and cleaning there carpets in hopes that they will buy their products.  I confronted the lady about lying to me about the job description to get me to the interview.  I told her that was not what I was looking for.  She apologizes and says she could get me in the call center but it would be much less than 500 a week.  Umm pretty sure I won't be working my butt off in a call center with 15 years customer service for less..  So I accepted the job walked out and never came back.  They are liars.  And I am disappointed that I wasted 20 dollars of gas and my whole morning on a b******* scam.  Then I read complaints later that for some reason I couldn't find prior to interview that they don't even pay you for your time.  That the 500 a week crap they reel you in with is also a scam!!  If your unemployed and looking for a good job this is not the job for you!!!  Sorry such a book but I needed to explain everything.
