Douglas Nissan Ripoff lied about financing for 2 cars, and then took them back Henderson Nevada

In December of 2005 my fiance decided she was going to buy a new car. We went to Towbin Dodge in the Valley Auto Mall, but was unable to get the deal she wanted. We then went next door to Douglas Nissan which had her 2nd choice of cars she printed off of the internet. She test drove it, and after haggling with them for a little while she bought it.

Two days later I decided that I was going to buy another car as well. I went to several dealers, but wasn't finding what I wanted so I figured since Douglas Nissan gave my fiance a good deal, why not. I had much more difficulty with their finance manager than she did. My credit is a little worse, but my trade in was much better than hers, and my new vehicle was cheaper than hers. I actually got up and started walking out twice, but was called back with better offers. I finally accepted one, and drove home.

Now my fiance and myself have 2 cars from Douglas Nissan. My fiance was called in to sign the paperwork, and surprise, they couldn't get the deal they promised. No big deal, all dealerships do this. They sent her away without finishing the deal, and said they would call her in a couple of days. She told them to not call unless they had the deal she was promised. When they called again they still didn't have her deal. She told them that we had bought 2 cars from them, and the next time they call her it had better be for the right deal, or have her old car ready to be picked up because she would return this one.

The next time they called they told her they could not get that deal, and that her payments would go up $50 a month. She said she would return the car, and asked about my car. They told her that I would need a cosigner. Folks, I do not need a cosigner for anything. I had a good trade, ok credit, and made decent money. I am much better off now than when I bought my other car. We took both vehicles back to the dealership, and expressed our dissatisfaction with their unethical practices.

It's bad enough when a dealer doesn't come through on 1 deal, but at least it's understandable. However, when a dealership sells 2 cars to the same household in 3 days, and reniggs on both deals - there is a serious problem.
