I had some issues with the finished product. The forms weren't measured properly so the patio is a noticable now 4 inches out at one end. I asked Doug to pour the concrete tight up to the house foundation sealing some cracks and he didn't, leaving holes for water to seep in to my shop. Other finish work that I asked for against the foundation was left unfinished. The surface finish was rushed and looks awful in spots. I tried to get Doug back to my home to discuss a solution to these problems among others but he just ignored me.
After a month I sent him an email outlining the issues and all I got from him was denial, name calling and an offer to come back and fix his mistakes only if I paid him. Being concrete, I'm sort of stuck with most of the problems that required only a few extra minutes during the pour. Not a pleasant experience.

I can't edit the original report but I do have something to add so I'll do it through an update.
No one's suggesting whether or not hire this guy...just make sure if you do to triple check his work, hold him accountable, and don't pay him until you're completely satisfied.
