I became ill from 2007 thru 2009, and out of work for that time.  Behind in mortgage payments, and had to declare bankruptcy, because I could not catch up.

Default was entered and foreclosure proceedings commenced in 2008.  Dovenmuehle offered me partial claim which would place money owed at the back of the loan, but I would have to resume regular payments of $1185.00 per month.

The monthly payments were affordable before I became ill.  I am on permanent disability and can work minimally, but still cannot afford payments. I tried to speak to Loss Mitigation (John Fox), but he was never available, and never returned my calls.

I was finally able to reach a person in Loss Mitigation Dept, and asked if they would  help me to save my home, but they said that a partial claim was all they could offer due to FHA Guidelines.

In the meantime, they said I could do a short sale.  My home was purchased at 156,000, and now it is listed at 99,000.  I would like to know if I can keep my house based on this new price, and then I can afford my home, and this could all go away.

Again, no one answers my calls.  They dont care about the person who is losing their home, they just want to get rid of you and be done with it.

I realize they are losing money because of my inability to pay the mortgage amount, but they will still lose money by having it sold at this new ridiculously low price.  So, why not let me have it at that amount.

I want to save my home.  Can someone help me.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

You are screwed.

This company simply contracts with lenders to accept your monthly mortgage payments. Most customer service reps you call have had 5 days of training. Escrow, Loss Mitigation, Loss Draft and especially Special Loans are a joke. They won't take a call. My advice to you is refinance and get away from Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. The managers are ignorant. One is a failed police recruit and the other is a (((redacted))) eastern Indian woman. They have zero people skills. Run away.
