Downtown Nissan (Vancouver) Nissan Canada, Vancouver Nissan Pissed-on by Nissan - Told me the Car was Nissan Certified... It was not - Nissan Wont help me Vancouver, British Columbia

I shopped for months to find the perfect Nissan Rogue - I decided I would buy from a Nissan dealer to ensure I had full warranty coverage and most importantly that the car would be NISSAN CERTIFIED. I found the perfect vehicle (out of my town) and was told by the salesman it was NISSAN CERTIFIED. I did not even test drive the vehicle on the strength of the NISSAN CERTIFIED known quality inspection. I told the dealer (in writing) I was happy with the car and did not need to test drive as it was certified. The dealer confirmed and did the sales paperwork. I bought the car and drove away happy.... two Days later, the brake lights did not work (maybe from day one, but I'm not sure) among other deficiencies in the car that I had not noticed (Bad tires and rock chipsetc.) - These are all listed as covered by NISSAN CERTIFICATION -So I called my local dealer to get NISSAN CERTIFIED work done and they tell me it is NOT even certified. - I email the original dealer and they also say they are not even set up to do Nissan Certification and its really only there to make sure the breaks are more than 50% and tires are more than 75% - I show them the Nissan Certification documents and they do not respond - So I go to Nissan Canada for help.... No Luck - I provide written evidence that the DOWNTOWN NISSAN dealer

LIED to me (told me it was certified). They initially told me that it was not their job to police dealers and that I needed to only deal with the Dealer; - They actually told me that I was NOT their customer, and that Downtown Nissan was THEIR  customer, and I was Downtown Nissan's customer... Really. - NISSAN CANADA eventually told me they would look into it, but many weeks later after I bugged them on facebook finally replied - So sorry, buyer beware!
