I have recently booked a rental car through the booking agent, DoYouSpain.com and the main reason for using this company was the fact that they advertise that their price includes Fully Comprehensive insurance.This is advertised on their homepage and in the General Conditions section of their website.

On arriving to collect my rental car I was informed by the Auto Rental representative that this was definately not the case and I would have to pay an extra 60 Euro to have such insurance. I refused to pay the extra as i would find it surprising that a company would blatantly advertise this if it was untrue.

I emailed DoYouSpain.com as I wanted confirmation on whether or not I was insured. I sent 3 emails but no reply so I contacted the Auto Rental company direct and asked them what terms they have with DoYouSpain.com , they informed me that Fully Comprehensive Insurance was not included as part of their agreement and the information on the DoYouSpain website was totally untrue.
