I signed up for a forclosures class when I attended the learning annex expo in West Palm Beach, FL. After buying the course from Dr Lowry.. the only speaker that seemed like he would actuallly teach you something I was really excited. So I signed up for the three day course the following weekend. Dr Lowry made a point to tell us each topic that he would cover during the three day course.
Instead, for $1054.00 I received a bunch of outdated materials (years old), and a three day course that was not even attended by Dr Lowry. In fact the seminar was from IAI, Don Burnham, all to buy his "$50,000.00 Real Estate Course." (Dr. Lowry specifically stated that he was not involved with Don Burnhan"
Upon finding out that Dr Lowry would not be attending the seminar, his principles would not be taught, and that the course was really a sales pitch for Burnham, I walked out.
I have been trying to get a refund ever since. I paid for one thing, and got another. The materials are totally worthless. I have tried to get an address to send the crap back, but it seems that the Learning Annex is quite experienced with complaints about thier deceptive and fraudulent practices.
I have started a letter to the attorney generals of both NY and FL. I will also contact the BBB as soon as I hear from my bank (which has credited me a temporary refund until it goes through the claims process)
Dr Lowry is a FRAUD and LIAR. I will have to fight to the end to get my money back, but in the meantime I would like everyone to know...
THE LEARNING ANNEX, DR ALAN LOWRY, DON BURNHAM, AIA, AND EVERYONE ELSE INVOLVED ARE FRAUDS. DO NOT GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THEM.
