Dr Andrew Kornstein This doctor is a fraud! He removed all my nose supports and my nose dropped down to my upper lip right after surgery! New York, New York

I had a perfect profile and went to Dr. Kornstein to simply make a somewhat wide nose narrower. We discussed that one would only see a difference from the front view, as the profile was naturally pretty.  The photographer of the "before"picture commented, "This will be a subtle nose job, right?"  In other words, I was pretty, my nose was O.K., but I wanted it to be a bit narrower and this surgery was a personal indulgence.
  
From the minute I woke up from surgery, it was obvious that he had somehow managed to make my nose longer and lower, without narrowing it at all. I did not know at the time that that was even possible. I subsequently found out that he had taken a surgical short=cut which resulted in my nose just dropping. He removed the supports. Now, when I smile, the tip of my nose touches my upper lip. Ánd the nose is still wide. It's HIDEOUS.

I went back in horror, and he said he would redo it as soon as I healed. I had the second nose job performed, had to pay again over $1500 for the anesthesia, and ...the second job did absolutely nothing. I saw no difference whatsoever. I just wanted my old profile back..a short nose that went up, not my new long, downward nose.

When I complained to him that the second surgery did nothing, he said, "We are dealing with millimeters, not centimeters." I replied, "Perhaps you are dealing with nanometers, because it does not appear that there is Any Change..at least not to the naked eye."

Basically, he would do nothing further and I now have an ugly, wide nose that goes down, like at Arab, and I am a blue-eyed blonde of Swedish descent.  Dr. Kornstein ruined my face!!!
