Dr. Bill Matt (aka Dr. Bill Smith) contacted me recently from a craigslist ad for childcare. He said he has 2 year old twins and wanted 5 weeks of care for them. He asked for my personal information so that he could pay me in full for all five weeks. This did not seem right so I told him that if he proved who he was (ie. copy of drivers license, home address etc...) I would tell him who I was. He just continued to beat around the bush and not provide me with very much information. Here are copies of the e-mails we sent back and forth to each other. Beware of this man - I do not know what he wants- but it sure is not childcare.

Absolutely. I can do that. What date are you getting here? How old are the children? I do not provide formula or diapers if they are infants. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I am a very loving mother and the twins will love it here. If the children are infants, the price is higher. What hours of the day would you need?

My response:

 The price would be $xxx a week for 5 days 8 hours a day for both kids with meals. I love little ones. If there are any behavior problems (swearing, biting, kicking, hitting, not listing after the third warning) I use the time out method. This time out is just them sitting in our hallway for 1-4 minutes depending on what they did. Children are innocent sweet little things nothing they can do is really that bad.
