To J. Michael Zenn of Seattle, WA and the report you submitted concerning Dr. Hawkins, could very well be my story.  My wife (now ex) and I went to an intensive spending thousands of dollars along with phone counselling that was very costly.  There was also hope  that this would help us but found it very destructive and abusive in so many ways.  I came away from the weekend feeling like a bomb had gone off in my heart leaving me shredded, reeling and hopeless.  The techniques were not Christian nor balanced nor objective.  I believe that it was the beginning of the end of our marriage. We did last another 3 years but it's all over now.  This is actually the first honest review for him that I've ever seen as was mentioned by Mr Zenn that no reveiws are to found on any of his material or website.  i wondered if it was just me or if others had exerienced the same.  Thought it might be good to form a Dr. Hawkins recovery group for all those who were hurt and wounded by the techniques used in his form of counselling
