Dr. Gary R. Tylock DR.TYLOCK RUINED MY EYES! DR.TYLOCK KNEW I WAS NOT A CANDIDATE FOR LASIK BUT TOOK MY MONEY ANYWAY!!! Irving Tx

DR.TYLOCK RUINED MY EYES! I was starting to have a small issue reading the fine print on labels. So, I thought I'd treat myself to lasik to avoid ever having wear glasses. I was told in the initial consultation that I was a great candidate and that they would have me at 20/20. WHAT A LIE! They have those posters on the wall with the letters starting big & getting smaller as it goes down. BEFORE the lasik I could read the print at the bottom telling who made the poster. AFTER lasik I can only read the huge E at the top!!!!!!!!

For a YEAR I saw rainbow streaks coming from every light and driving at night was just plain dangerous...the headlights/taillights on the cars around me would leave a trail of light behind them like a time elapsed photo. About a month after the lasik I backed my car into a light pole because I couldn't judge the distance. That cost me $1500! Then a few months after that I entered traffic & t-boned a car because it was grey and I couldn't even make it out against the pavement!

Luckily no one was badly injured but that ended up costing me $5,000 in extra car insurance for 5 years! Now I catch myself constantly bumping into things because my eyesight is so bad. I used to read every night before bed...will never be able to do that again. Even with my new glasses I now have to wear, I get a headache within 20 min of reading a book. So, since I sell on-line for a living I get daily headaches from straining to see the computer.

I sarcastically say " Thank you Dr. Tylock" every time I hurt my self...or drive by an exit because I can't read the sign, or have to use glasses AND a magnifying glass just to read the health facts on my food labels...etc., etc.,... Now, you must know this: DR.TYLOCK KNEW I WAS NOT A CANDIDATE FOR LASIK BUT TOOK MY MONEY ANYWAY!!! The day of the surgery I heard him arguing with the doctor(s) who had been doing all my testing up to that point. She said I wasn't a candidate and I could have troubles if I had lasik done!

When I questioned him about the argument Dr. Tylock said "I'm the Doctor and I have the final say...and I say you should not only get it done but should get both done at the same time". The female doctor tried to get him not to do my surgery but he wouldn't hear it! THEN, when it came time to start cutting they didn't fully numb my eyes! If I hadn't loudly insisted they double check my eyes were numb THEY WOULD HAVE BLINDED ME!!

Before the surgery they said I would be 20/20 the next day. Then over the next YEAR they told me I was "healing slow" and my eyesight would eventually get to 20/20!? Well, I got sick of hearing the lies and after frequently insisting to see Dr.Tylock I was finally given an appt. to see him face to face. After Dr.Tylock PERSONALLY CONFIRMED that " I wasn't actually a candidate for lasik", he then said to me "one eye is 20/20 but the other eye was permanently damaged and can't be operated on again...

I'll refund the cost of 1 eye". OH MY GOD!!! I said to him "Are you freaking kidding me? Neither eye is 20/20. They are BOTH very blurry! And even if one eye were 20/20, wht am I supposed to do? Spend the rest of my life with one eye closed!??" I ran out crying in despair AND NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN...EVEN AFTER CALLING MANY TIMES INSISTING TO TALK TO DR.TYLOCK! So, I get to spend the rest of my life with headaches...wearing glasses...and afraid to drive at night.

"Thank you Dr.Tylock"...FOR RUINING MY EYESIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Also, interesting fact...the guy who did my consultation and the doctor who told Dr.Tylock not to do my surgery were both fired after my surgery! STAY AWAY FROM THIS QUACK! I WISH I HAD NEVER SET FOOT IN THAT AWEFUL PLACE. WISH I HAD READ THE BAD SIGNS AND RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!
