I am totally sickened by the information I have found out on my former surgeon, and his b.s. that he delivers to our community. ...
To begin with, I had a breast aug. enlargement by Dr Gregory S. Delange this past year. I was a small B, and requested a very full C, or small D. I showed him an example of exacly what I wanted, and when I woke up from recovery, I was barely a C. He did not put in the cc's we agreed to. I am now a tiny C. I needed at least a full c minimum to balance my hips.
I am well over 5'8 with broad shoulders, and full hips, so I could easily carry the larger implant. I also have a lot of natural breast tissue, so the implants would have fit fine. I believe the problem is that THIS SURGEON DOES WHAT HE WANTS, not what the patient wants. Now, I am out thousands of dollars and very unhappy with the size.
I expressed my discontent to the surgeon, and his attitude was "pay all OR and anesthesia fees, and the cost of new implants and I will waive my fee, and do a re-do surgery." Are you kidding me? I had already spent thousands of dollars at The Estetica Institute, and he did not do what we agreed to. Now he wants more money to do the surgery the way he should have the first time?
I think this man is a borderline con artist and a fraud, NOT a qualified doctor and the "perfectionist" that he wants to portray himself as.
I have since learned of many women who have had disatisfactory results from Dr. DeLange. It appears many women have had problems getting the sizes they agreed too, with many being too large. I am glad I did not end up huge, and feel really bad for those ladies who did.
I have found 2 complaints on this forum as well. DeLange reponded to a womans complaint with "...This is a fake report I have recently been advised that a local cosmetic surgeon (not a trained plastic surgeon) has instructed several of his staff memebers to write malicious and slanderous remarks about my practice in the hopes of diverting patients away rom my office."
Are you kidding me? This surgeon is about as arrogant, misleading, and hypocritical as they get. He actually has the gall to claim other local surgeons are posting deflamatory posts about him but gives no names of such surgeon.
I am not a local surgeon, and I AM POSTING A COMPLAINT! Delange has a good bedside manner until he gets your money. He "yes's" you, and tells you what you want to hear. His staff is ok, but his work is not what you pay for.
HE does NOT perform as agreed to. I AM PROOF! He takes your money, does below average work, then asks for more money to fix the job. He also owns the salon next door and the Operating Room, so he makes all the profit from them. But, of course he fails to tell his patients this.
I found him listed on implantinfo.com and plan to let all the women there know of my experience, so they dont get burned like I did.

I am saddened that you are so unhappy with the size of the selected implants. I would be happy to take care of all fees if I used implants that did not achieve the size we had agreed. Are you really that much smaller than the planned size? If so, I apologize and will take care of everything. If your result is nearly exact to the intended size then I think it is fair that you pay for the operating room fees only. I think your personal attack on me is unwarranted. I take great pride in achieving the best results medically possible and if something is not perfect, I fix it. I perform over 1,000 procedures per year and yes, I am not perfect but strive to be and almost every time reach both the patient and my goals.
