My child was injured by the unprofessional and overly aggressive manner in which the dental Hygenist cleaned my child's teeth. The overly deep scaling, and the uncaring manner in which this woman harshly behaved is unacceptable.... particularly for an office that advertises as being "holistic", which means to me that you would have a more gentle and caring experience.
But this experience was nothing more than shocking, and quite disturbing.

The dental Hygenist also accidentally had a piece of equipment fall out of her hands in a sloppy way and fall on my child's front tooth. Unbelievable goofy and sloppy bedside manner.

I found the high prices to be greedy without any great treatment to back up the high charges.

Lastly, I found the doctor himself to be using techniques, materials and dental devices that I would consider to be outdated, and not at all up to par with the high tech and well trained dentists I have seen in more modern, and healthy minded offices.

I have been so disturbed by the experience that I have taken the time to hopefully forewarn anyone else who might be treated this badly.

I have to say something about these "incidents"

AUTHOR: Jl - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, November 20, 2008

I have worked for Dr. Mark Breiner for 14 years. I have assisted him chairside and I have worked the front desk. As I read these reports, I have to say, I think they are made up. We are very careful in this office as far as materials, techniques, and chairside manner.

I know of the first incident; this person has problems and they are not in her mouth. Materials cannot "spill" all over a person's mouth. They are carefully applied with a tiny brush. And, incidentally, this patient was given her records over 2 years ago when she requested them. And, she was compensated for her "trouble". Many of her statements are not accurate. As far as the patient who had a child with a bad experience, I know of no such case. Certainly a situation like that would have been addressed immediately and rectified. I stand behind Dr. Breiner and his work, as well as our hygienist and her work. Their techniques are far from "goofy or careless".

It amuses me that people with no dental experience think they know more than the dentist when it comes to technology, materials, and techniques. The latest and greatest technology isn't always the best approach for a particular individual. You can go into a flashy gadgety office and not necessarily have the best experience, either.

The internet does a lot of good; however, using it to anonymously and falsely malign someone is shameful and ruins its positive benefits.
