I used to work for Dr. Ahmed. During my employment I WITNESSED him KILL peoples beloved pets, then TELL the owner it had died. I saw him place very sick animals in cages and never feed, water or treat them but yet charge the owner thousands, yes thousands of dollars for medical treatment HE DI NOT preform. I saw him tell an owner of a very expensive parrot that he bird had died over night but in actuality he had sold the parrot to his friend! He used to have a contract with the state of Ca for treatment of wildlife. He ALWAYS took the wild animal in the back and snapped its neck. He NEVER treated one single wild animal but yet wrote up a chart for the state and charged them thousands of dollars. He charges almost everyone for treaments that are completly unnecessary. Dr. Ahmed and boards animals. I have seen him take a hose and almost drown a dog by placing the hose up to his nose and holding it there in an attempt to get the dog to stop barking. I have see him take a hose and squirt a cat in a small kennel simply because it was meowing. I ahve also seen him injure a perfectly healthy animal in order to have the owner pay for treatment. No, I am not making this up. I was not fired from this business I QUIT. I reported him to the Veterinary Medical Board, BBB and now here. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. He over charges for everything and NEVER treats the animals with compassion...NEVER.
