Dr. Robert Pugach AKA Pacific Coast Urology Medical Center SCAM! No Bed-Side Manner! Los Alamitos California

My husband had a scheduled vasectomy with Dr. Pugach today and when we arrived the doctor rushed my husband to get undressed. My husband was nervous, which is common im sure, and expressed his anxiety to the Dr. The doctor told him "we are on a very tight schedule today".. As my husband lay on the table naked he again expressed being scared and said he could feel a little pain and instead of the Dr, taking some time to be compassionate and understanding, he told my husband that if he was going to be this sensitive then he should go to the hospital. This Dr. was rude and lacked any proper bed-side manner. Could you imagine going to give birth and the staff telling you "we are on a really tight schedule". There is no excuse for this behavior. Once my husband left and told me what happened I asked the nurses to explain and they repeated "we have a tight window for these procedures". Basically saying they dont have time for nerves and anxiety. THey told us the hospital would charge $1100 and coincidentally this Dr. would also be performing the procedure! Well we had already paid $70 for THIS procedure and drove over an hour, and now the Dr. was telling us to pay $1100 instead! We asked the nurses if we could just take an hour or so and come back and they said no, we then asked if we could just rescheudle the whole procedure and the Dr. refused and said to go to the hospital. Well this is a SCAM, he is too impatient to console his clients and then tries to take advantage of them by charging $1100 instead of just $70. This practice SHOULD NOT schedule so many procedures in ONE day if they cant act respectfully and give the time to each client.
