Dr. Roger Bassin - Bassin Center For Eyelid And Facial Plastic Surgery Dr. Bassin is unethical and a fraud. He recommended a procedure to me based upon my complaints and assured me that I would be extremely pleased with the results. I got NO result after giving him $2500.00 of my hard earned money. Last year, I utilized Dr. Bassin for a facial laser procedure that he recommended to me for fine lines, wrinkles, skin tone and elasticity. The procedure cost $2500.00. I was reluctant to go forward until Dr. Bassin assured me in two separate consultations that I would be "extremely" pleased with my results. He stated to me that the procedure would be virtually pain free and that I would be ready to go back to work in three days. The scheduling of the procedure was a nightmare, which should have been my first red flag.

The procedure was excruciating to the point where I almost got off the table. Instead of being out of work for three days as I was told, I was forced to take a week off for healing. During my first post-procedure visit, I met with the skin care specialist for a required facial and at that time, expressed my concerns that my face looked the same. I saw no improvement in the fine lines or wrinkles. She assured me that my appearance would improve as well as the elasticity in my skin. Well, needless to say, I'm still waiting almost a year later. In fact, I would go so far as to say the procedure made my problems areas worse. My complaints to Bassin have fallen on deaf ears. I met with him twice since the procedure complaining about not having received any result from the procedure. He offered to "re-do" the procedure but because I received no result from the first one, I expected more of the same if I would have agreed to a second one. Further, like I said, it was extremely painful and cost me alot of time out of work that was not represented to me from the start. I requested a refund of my money, and since that time, I have been ignored by Bassin. I know now that I was scammed. He took my hard earned money and did not deliver any result as promised. He has numerous former clients who have experienced similar situations as mine and have received the same response. Don't use Bassin unless you just want to give your money away.
