Dr Sam Naficy Sam Naficy ruined my nose. I have Empty Nose Syndrome (ENS), loss of smell, painful grafts, and ugly outcome after primary rhinoplasty. Paid 12,000. Bellevue Washington

Dr Sam Naficy in Bellevue performed a primary rhinoplasty in 2015. We agreed on the outcome with morphs, there were to be minimal changes (2mm raise in tip, shave hump, refine tip) and there was no discussion about the addition of grafts. 

I paid a hefty sum of $12,000 and that's when Dr Naficy became rude and disinterested. He seemed irritated by my questions, he acted like I was overthinking things... I wish I'd run away from this greedy man but I was naive at the time.

The outcome was an ugly wide nose which is pushed upwards like a pig. He removed septal cartilage measuring 3cm x 1.5cm without consent and used this to create painful disfiguring grafts.

The grafts, particularly the extended strut graft is causing me constant pain. The skin is stretched to its limits. A slight touch causes me to flinch. My tip is hard as rock and acnes all of the time.

I have lost at a minimal 40% of my sense of smell.

At the same time I have a burning sensation in my left nostril and constant dryness. I believe this was due to over-aggressive caudal septum resection. These are the symptoms of Empty Nose Syndrome (ENS).

Dr Sam Naficy and his staff provided me with many lies about my outcomes for an entire year. They said my nose was swollen, they said it would go down. I was even told I have rosacea which was causing swelling going on 8 months (I have never been diagnosed with this by a dermatologist in my life).

Later he said I have thick nasal skin which meant it was impossible to remove my small hump. A look at the surgical report reveals that I have average nasal skin.

He has refused to fix the damage he has caused or refund any of the money from my botched rhinoplasty.

Beware this doctor as well as his staff Julie Legman, Lindsey Visser, Susie Gibson, etc. They are sweet talking saleswomen and you will never hear from them again once they have your money.
