Dr. Taylor at USA Pain Clinics False accusations Rio Rancho, Albuquerque New Mexico

I have been a patient of Dr. Taylor at USA Pain Clinics for about 6 years. This last appointment he entered the room I was in like a “madman” falsely accusing me of using Morphine which I do NOT take. I have had Peripheral Neuropathy for about 18 years and is extremely painful. This started after I had Cervical Spine surgery.

Since I knew I was innocent I did some research on what can cause a Urine test to come back with positive results for Morphine. My research indicated Poppyseeds can and will cause a false positive. BINGO! I eat a Poppyseed muffin every morning for Breakfast unaware that this can be a problem.

Later in the day I spoke to an assistant of his and she note she did call where the Urine Analysis was performed. They told Dr. Taylor that Poppyseeds will cause a positive for Morphine. They asked me if I wanted a follow up appointment which I declined. I am extremely upset about this and have always followed Doctors orders.

He did NOT give me an opportunity for me to speak as I really was more stunned than anything. I would really appreciate an apology from Dr. Taylor concerning this. He very rarely listens to his patients and should not be in the position he is in.

He also made some “off the wall” comments that I found were uncalled for. I am reporting him to the Licensing board, insurance companies, etc. Beware if you are a patient or thinking of becoming a patient at USA Pain Clinics in Rio Rancho and Albuquerque, NM.
