Doctor Virdee is one of those suboxone doctors "in it for the cash". They lie about filing insurance claims. None of my claims have been filed and they constantly say they filed the forms. Now she is charging everyone an extra 100.00 per visit citing "it is regulation" which is not true due to my research of the DATA 2000 and North Dakota Board of Physicians. She is price gouging the already unfortuante. Charging 100.00 for T Cup uring test that costs 5.00 is rediculous ans she claims "it is law". She has no problem lying obviously. The news will come knocking on her door soon. She thinks because she is the only suboxone doctor in 200 miles she can do whatever she wants and charge whatever she wants once she gets us hooked on suboxone. I am personally moving because I cannot afford 268.00 every month just for the 15 minute doctor visit.
I thought doctors took an oath to help people, not get rich off them. If you are reading this Dr.Virdee, shame on you! And using Dr. Cooper so you can double your client load is pretty slick but it will come back to haunt you.

In response to the complaint of Dr Virdee as a Suboxone prescriber, accusing her of price gouging, lying, overbilling, etc.:
I know Dr. Virdee to be a highly ethical behavioral health care practitioner, very caring, and attentive to individual needs. The author clearly does not know that many physicians charge upwards of $500.00 or more for a single urine screening test; these are required for screening and ongoing prescribing for any patient in pain mgt and/or addiction care.
Suboxone is used for addiction treatment and speaking from both personal and clinical experience, addiction carries with it far deeper pain than simply the physical manifestation(s). There are many new and innovative methods to desensitize the severe pain that some experience and anyone suffering from addiction and chronic pain should research all options.
I personally went from a sp]inal cord stim implant and the recomendation of having an intrathecal pump implanted in addition, to using celebrex and buprenorphine (one constituednt of suboxone). I have a catastrophic spinal injury and live with high levels of pain; learning to live with the pain is key. Not passing blame off on anyone else is also key. Addiction is complex and blamimg others is not fruitful, nor is tossing out baseless accusations at a Dr who is trying to help.
I see the author's accusations as baseless and symptomatic of someone still caught in the addiction cycle. It is my hope that by now, 7 years later, this person has moved on and found fulfillment in life.
