Dr. Wilfredo Barrios Dr. Wilfredo Barriosnuevo Did not do all that he promised to our dear dog and ripped our family off. He was also quite nasty and condescending to us without cause. East Hartford, Connecticut

A few months ago, our dear family dog had several cysts on her body that were getting larger. We took our dog to East Hartford Animal Clinic hoping to see our usual Dr. Kan Richter, but instead we saw Dr. Barrios. The sweet and kind Dr. Kane Richter sadly left that office and now I see why.

Dr. Barriossaid that he would take all of the cysts out of our dog andsaid with hostility in his voice(as if we couldn't afford it or something)that we needed to pay the full amount before he performed the surgery. We paid the full amount even though we thought that was strange for him to be so course and forward. We didn't want to fight, we just wantedour deardog to feel better.

Dr. Barriosendedup taking only a few of the cysts out, leaving several on herand was quite mean and rough with our dog.Dr. Barrioseven discharged her with open wounds with the flesh open! When we noticed it was she recovered at home, we took her back to him only to have him say that he won't hcarge up for stitching the wound!!!! We just paid him thousands of dollars to do surgery on our dog which he didn't complete and had the nerve to say that to us after he was so incompetent. Appalling!

We foundDr. Barriosobnoxious, nasty and insensitive. We had a total of 4dogsat his clinic for regular services-as we are dog loversbut sincepulled all of them out of ever using his clinic. Never will we subject our pet family to such abusive treatment.

There are many nice vets in the Hartford area and we refuse to be treated so horribly at such a vunerable time when a family member(pet) is sick. I do NOT recommend using this Dr. Barrios for your beloved animal family member(s).
