Dream Dogos The owner would not return my money even though he didn't provide the puppy we agreed upon. Ham Lake Minnesota

In April 2016 I contacted Dream Dogos to inquire about buying an all white, intact male puppy of show quality. A price was agreed upon.

Four months later I was notified by email that "I am yet to see the perfect dog, but if one exist that is him. Excellent muscle and bone structure. Picture perfect of the breed standard. Top that with flawless demeanor and this is as close as you can get to the perfect Dogo. Looking at him and the words Harmony and Perfection come to mind. Breeding a dogo at this standard comes only with ultimate dedication." Thinking that because Mr. Salama had a BBB logo on his website he would be an honest businessman and after this glowing description of the puppy, I immediately sent the complete price we had agreed on. By the next day when I was able to see a picture of the puppy, I could quickly tell that because of the amount of black areas on the head that it would not meet the show standards. I called to refuse the puppy and since I had already sent the money for a puppy I decided to wait on his next litter.

Two months later he emailed me to try to get me to take a 14 month dog that he had sold and was returned to him. Again, this was not what we had agreed upon and I refused reminding him that we had agreed on a puppy that I could train to show.

Four more months passed and I was notified via email that my puppy was ready. This puppy still had black areas albeit smaller but I had specifically requested an all white puppy, so realizing that he was never going to offer a puppy that met those requirements I asked for my money back. He became rather hysterical on the phone and bluntly told me that I couldn't have my money back. He wouldn't accept my phone calls or emails and I tried other avenues (BBB and the Attorney General) before finally hiring a lawyer. I would advise anyone considering doing business with this person to be very, very careful (especially if you're a woman).
