Below is a copy of the offer on Paul Bauer's website. It promises a 14 day trial. On the tenth day I sent Paul Bauer two emails to cancel and I wrote that I did not want to incur the 97.00 expense. I did not receive any response. I was not able to find a phone number on his website. I just, this morning, found an 800 number on one of the ordering pages.
Lo and Behold, on the 13th day after I signed up for the 14 day trial, I received a notice from PayPal that $97.00 had been deducted from my account to pay for this course. The money was deducted on the 13th day and my emails were ignored by Paul Bauer.
I was finally able to find a phone number next to the charge in my PayPal account. I called and left a message asking him to contact me. We all know I have not received a return call.
I have now filed a report with PayPal and will have to wait for my money to be refunded. This is no way to do business and adds to the fear associated with doing business online.
I am surprised at Paul Bauer. Mainly because I associate the trait of integrity with the subject matter he is teaching. He is either a crook or not a very good businessman. The fact that it is so difficult to find contact information on his website makes me lean towards the previous.
I have a website and I make it very easy for anyone to reach me. I also reply to them immediately.

I was a Dreams Alive consumer, purchased software approximately 7 to 8 years ago, loved the program, the pop-up reminders, how it processed consumers input to pop-up window questions (establishing somewhat of a library of input, used for reference to create ongoing dialog with consumer...to implant positive self images and reminders). The imaging and meditational music was wonderful, all was great.
Some time or even years went by, lost the cd to reinstall into newer computer system.
Decided a couple of years ago to order online the "Mana-festing" Dreams Alive program, which was basically an online script with access to getting on calls facilitated by Paul Bauer, etc...
There was indeed a "trial period" involved with this too once again.
Within this period, I did in fact submit request to cancel, got no response. I researched and researched to find a number to contact in the materials, on the website in which the course was purchased...still no number to be found. The main website used by Dreams Alive, I notice now has address and number posted on home page, however, for a while, during my issue, wasn't lucky enough to be able to locate via site used at the time. Not sure what was going on.
Time went on, frustrations set in, but I never gave up on my quest to get a response and a refund due to feeling that that particular program or instructions were not working for me.
More research went into digging into the website, reading in and outside of all pages, links, etc and WAHLAH...at last! Contact information was found, I called and called and STILL...no direct answer, left messages over and over...no response.
Even more frustrated, and not understanding why I was not getting response I had expected from previous dealings when I first purchased software...through workshop with 'SUSAN CASTLE', part of Paul Bauer of Dreams Alive. I get to this point, or person of reference because...this is who finally assisted me in getting my refund at a later date.
I eventually realized that if I perhaps attempted to contact Susan Castle, facilitator for their retreats/workshops, if lucky to find an email address and or number, I could start copying her on the messages being sent to Paul, in an attempt to make sure that I wasn't missing anything.
Finally, Susan responded and continued to make sure that Paul was recieving his messages.
She was instrumental in the followup and what I believe was the reason for my success in FINALLY getting my refund...and YES, I too was charged prior to date expected...during trial period, and it was a nightmare trying to get money back...but NON-THELESS...I finally got it.
I hope that this is helpful to anyone still seeking a refund.
It may not be an easy process....or as "Hasselless" as Paul makes it sound...and I do not have a clue why anyone in business would state such a claim and not meet the expectations better than what he has proven, however, no one knows why anyone does not do what they promise in this world.
I regret that any one has to experience what I did. I am sorry about your frustrations. I do not believe that Paul is a bad person, but a business man who could, as all practice better business ethics based on promises 'Guaranteed'.
If anyone is still seeking refund and still going through the process, please attempt to email SUSAN CASTLE via email as well as phone and leave her message. She will communicate with you.
