We ordered and paid for twelve tons of 21AA driveway gravel and instead received a pile of clay with very few stones in it. When we called Bo, the owner back, he said he would come by that afternoon to look at what was delivered and resolve the problem. He never showed up or called back. He then stopped answering the phone and wouldn't return any phone calls (the only number given is his cell phone).
Warning - this is a very small fly by night company that has no website, no email and no way to contact them except for using the cell phone number they give (which they won't answer if there's any issues). We've been buying driveway gravel for the past 10 years with no issue so we know what to expect and have never had any problems with companies we've bought from in the past, the problem is definately with this company.

As a cosistent customer of landscape supplies I find that you must be specific in what you are looking for when it comes to landscaping materials. I have dealt with Driftwood Trucking in the past and I feel that they are a reputable company - may be a smaller operation - but have always been friendlier than any other landscape company. And being a small company is not a BAD thing. Would you rather give your money to large coporations that buy their materials outside of the state of MI or even outside the US? I say we should all support local businesses.

It looks like you just lost your 'solid' reputation!

How do you know if they are being unreasonable if you don't ever show up to look at the gravel?

We are not a fly by night company. We have been in business for 8 years and are going nowhere. If for any reason I quit calling a customer back is because they are being completely unreasonable. We are a professional company and deliver the right product for any project our customers are working on.
