PEOPLE THINK

AUTHOR: Courtney - (U.S.A.)

I also have a loan with drive and have had so problems in the past by that was my own fault. You puchase a 2007 hundai accent for 15000 the car brand new is not that much. you blame Drive how ever the person you need to blame is the dealership they ripped you off and i am going to tell you how "They make the deal!!!"

I have a 2005 Chevy Aveo and was purchase brand new with about 300 miles on it. The dealership sold me the car for 9500 and the car was worth 10500. I have bad credit and known that the interest rate would be high and beacuse i needed a car and have bad credit i dealed with it. My payment are only 280. The only problem that i have with drive is that when you are late on a payment the charge a flat fee and interest but then again i made the payment late not drive.

nuts!

It is nuts that you did not take the $2,500 and buy a car for that. That wouldv'e helped you out of the CYCLE of debt! Paying cash is much better and you can find decent cars tillyour'e up on your feet and buy a better car. I have a paid for 06 suv that ive put on 112k miles so far, so yes it can be done. You should have seen the beaters I've driven in my 30 yrs of driving. You need to try and not get behind cause they willl begin to really drive you nuts then. Cars go down in price like crazy and you will continue to struggle till you get out of living in a debt cycle. I know our society tries to teach you are only as good as the cars you drive, but it is a crazy lie. I hope you will learn from your mistakes and get this car paid off early.

I Don't Get It

So what is the problem? Why would you buy a car that was only worth half what u paid for it? I find it hard to believe a 2007 Hyundai is only worth $8k but anyway thats beside the point.

I dont see what "ACT of LAW" ,as you state, that was broken? They asked for a reasonable downpaymnet on a $15k car. So likely your at 23% interest for 5 years this is not illegal they are second chance financing. By asking for that downpayment they want to ensure you have some financial stake in the car so you keep the payments up. If your complaining now wait till you miss some payments.
