Drive Financial/Santander Usa Nuvell Financial and National Auto Finance RIP-OFF, SCAMMERS, OVERCHARGING, LIERS Dallas, Texas

Our car loan was taken over by Drive Financial/Santander and this has not been pleasant experience for us.  We purchased a 2004 GMC Envoy in 2006.  We made payments ontime for about 3 years until I became sick and was out of work for awhile, and incurred medical bills and physical therapy bills.  We contacted Drive/Santander to get some help in getting our loan current so we could get a fresh start.  They pretended to have made arrangements to bring our acct current through deferred payments.  We made the one payment and was told we would not have to make a payment until 2 months from that date.  "A BIG FAT LIE."  About 2 days later we started receiving phone calls everyday about 5 times a day from different numbers and sometimes blocked numbers.  When I spoke with them asking about the deferred payment, I was told that there was not such agreement and our account was being charged 10.95 per day for each day we were late until the acct was caught up, which they were saying we were already 40 something days late...so that's 10.95 per day for each of those days.  On top of that, when we purchased the car it was only $16,500 and here it is 2010 and they are saying we still owe over $15,000 on the vehicle.  I am not a great mathemetician, but I know that is not right.  When we tried to change our due date they would not allow that, said we had to be current before we could do that, which we were already suppose to be current.  We tried going thru another company or bank to refinance, but since Santander reported derogatory information to all 3 credit bureaus, that could not happen because our credit score was impacted by that.   WE WOULD LIKE TO JOIN IN ANY LAWSUIT AGAINST THESE PEOPLE.  They make it very hard for hardworking people to get ahead and manage a household budget.    SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
