Driver Detective / Safecart offered a driver search for $9.95, I was charged $39.90? They wouldn't issue refund. I notified my bank and filled out report. Temple Texas
*UPDATE Employee: Refund for Driver Detective
On May 11,2009 I was taken to this site accidentally,I was told that for $9.95 I could try this to see if I needed any upgraded driver(s). They sent me an email with a registation key # to log in and enter. I did not as I realized this was not someithing I could use. Their scan didn't offer any new upgrades.
I noticed on my bank statement they (Safecart) took out $39.90. I called the phone # on my bank statement, it was a RECORDING ONLY. I notified my bank and filled out recquired forms for reimbursement. I'll never trust anything like this in the future. I am contacting the BBB in Austin,TX today also. Thank you, its good to know I'm not alone.
