Driverpayday.com Aka Carvertizing.com Driverpay.com Almost Scammed Me but thanks to The Ripoff Report they Didn't Sacramento California

I got a call from this guy at www.driverpayday.com he said his name was David Johnson. He said I applied some time ago to get paid to put advertising on my car. He said he was interviewing 4 people total and I was the last one. He asked me some questions and said he had to talk it over with his boss then would get back to me in about an hour. Well he called back in exactly 1 hour stating that I got the job and he would like to invite me aboard. I took down the toll free number he gave me which was 888-802-2723. He said I would get an email with all the info I needed and he would mail a package with the decal and the $439 check which he said was my first residual check. He then said all he had to do was take care of the $109 set up fee. He said this was to insure I was serious. I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving my info over the phone and asked him if there was a way to check out his business and asked if he was on the Better Business Bureau. He said the business was too new to be listed there because they were not in business for at least 2 years (I new otherwise). I said well can you give me about an hour and he said he was leaving soon (he previously told me that he worked 10-5 PST and it was only 3:35) he said he could give me 15 minutes. I said can I call you back on the toll free phone number you gave me he said "no, call me back on my direct line which is (302)999-8871". I then proceeded on the internet to check him out. First the website www.driverpayday.com didn't open up or was down. Then I called the 888 number he gave me an it didn't exist. I then went to godaddy.com and check who owned the site and this is what came up:
