Dr. freelander is a psychologist that you need to run away from! I was  in the San Francisco Family Court child trauma research Center where I received reunification therapy for free, administered by interns and overseen by a licensed doctor. As many men understand, women continue to alienate while in the system and their activities go unchecked, unnoticed, deliberately ignored! Dr. Steven Friedlander fits firmly in this pattern, do not be in denial about it! Working with my intern, taking three steps forward and my wife plunging us five steps backwards, after about a year my intern said it's time for you to see your young daughter one-on-one outside of a therapeutic environment. I of course was ecstatic. I went to court and decided to step up to the plate and start paying for sessions with Dr.Friedlander. There was about three months of downtime before we could see Dr. Friedlander. My ex-wife successfully canceled out all of the psychological treatments we had and my children were once again completely against me! The doctor readily excepted this new information and behavior, and my ex-wife provided the ingredients and the doctor baked it and  served it to the court.it was amazing to discover what he believed! The doctor was not applying the checks and balances that we normally see with educated people. Dr. Friedlander after one session with my wife immediately canceled any sessions that I would have with my daughter outside of the therapeutic environment! I had been languishing in this process for two and half years, this horrible action by Dr. Friedlander devastated me! Put yourself in my shoes potential customer! My ex-wife had a friend named Sherman who incidentally was gay, he had slapt a number of times with my young son in the same bed! All of these Family Court professionals behind me, my lawyer, other medical professionals, thought that Dr. Friedlander would use his power and tell the court of this unhealthy relationship and get this man and his influence removed from this process. The doctor much to everybody's shock and discussed gave this man sessions which I was billed for, the doctor was moved by what this man said believe every word of it on the face and my standing in the process of reunification was completely devastated!! Dr. Friedlander does not have the same moral beliefs as the layperson! He has special personal beliefs which he will not share with you up front! Dr. Friedlander wants to be viewed as thinking outside of the box by his fellow doctors! I had working behind me  family court specialists, including a lawyer  a counselor and two other psychologists! They were sickened and angered by Dr. Friedlander's choice of roads!my little girl said during a session that mommy spit in daddy's face,mommy kicked daddy. The doctor prepared his preliminary report and walked into court and did not mention these two items of violence that my young daughters stated and was traumatized by! The doctor will report that was so vague, only someone who had received excellent higher education could have written! Run from this doctor!!!
