DS Dealer Services Extended warrenty for Automobile Wentzville Missouri

My 90 year old mother got this letter in the mail, saying she had only 72 hours to get this warrenty. She talked to a fellow named (he said) Ty Morrisen. I happened to hear her on the phone talking to this person, she was giving him her debit card number, I asked what she was doing, she said I am getting a warrenty to fix my van I said let me talk to him, he said he would talk to me but wanted her debit number first. She gave him the rest of the number, I tried to stop her but couldn't. she gave me the phone I asked him what this was, he said a warrenty that would fix her van for four years. I said " how much is this going to cost her, he started telling me what it covers, Hold it! I said, how much is this costing her I am her daughter and she does not understand what she is doing and she doesn't even drive anymore. He said it was $395 down and $129 a month for 4 years. I told him I was her power of Attorney and he needed to cancel this right now, she does not need this and can not afford that much money anyway. He said he would have to talk to her before he could cancell it.

My mother got on the phone and said " my daughter is right she is my power of Attorney please cancell, my mother gave me the phone back to me, he tried to talk ove me but I yelled at him to cancell or he would hear from her Attorney. He said he would cancell.
I stopped at her bank and talked to the Manager of Bank she told me to wait to see if the refund comes through if not to come down and file an affidavett on ( because of holiday) after the week end. Thats where we stand now!!

My mother's account has been charged the $395 but no refund. I hope this will help any other older seniors, Please don't call any of these things you get in the mail unless you talk to some first.
