AFter reading Derek's letter, let me say that I learned things, even I didn't know about DS MAX and i have made it my past time to try and get them shut down since I left back in 2003. I didn't work in the Louisville Communication office but a few months, but in that time I became $6000 dollars in debt, ended up dating and living with one of the guys who turned out to be abusive and wouldn't let me pay off my debts because I was supposed to take the money that I was earning in my job with my PR degree to help get promoted.
My manager was a 20 year punk named Roman Trushkov who spent all of our security money on strippers and booze. I spent many phone conversations after I left talking to communications Mike Putnam (this guy is the biggest thing DS MAX history who sleeps with every girl in every office he visits) trying to get Roman put out of business, after all my boyfriend ran his car in the ground and I was having to cart him everywhere to work!
Eventually they were shut down but my now ex-boyfriend had to go all the way to Roman's two promoting Managers out in California, Nancy Salee and Sean Hahn to get it and it took months. I have now left Louisville and my boyfriend but I am still paying on my debt, had to get my parents to get me a newer car and I have a hard getting am apartment and a job because of my credit. These guys even got me fired from my other job, because I spent so much time hauling my boyriend around, I couldn't do my job!
DO NOT fall prey to these guys! They keep you from your family, ruin you financially, you lose your homes, cars, kids, and your health. If you try to make them stick to your Independent Distributor agreement they will in essence refuse to consign you merch, fire you and make your life hell for years to come.
Leader's meetings, rallies- they are just a massive meeting of the heads of the cult to brainwash you and get you in trouble with the IRS!
