I signed up for water delivery service because I received a deal from Costco.  At first, the service was fine.  Eventually, they started missing deliveries.  I would receive the automated phone call saying my delivery was the next day, I would put the empty bottles out and no one would show up.  Then they would randomly show up on an unscheduled day, unannounced and just leave the new bottles without taking any empties.

After a few missed deliveries, I ended up with 15 empty water bottles in my garage.  I could not even pull my car in.  I placed several phone calls to find out how to go about getting these empties picked up.  They kept giving me dates, and then no one would call to confirm and no one would show up.

The final straw for me was after 6 weeks of trying to get answers, I was given the date of November 4th as a GUARANTEED pick up date.  I requested a phone call to confirm so that I could carry all the empties out that morning if they were going to definitely come.  No phone call.  So the morning of the 4th, I called in and was told that they had it scheduled for the 1st but that I had canceled it.  I never had a date of the 1st and I certainly had never canceled.  The guy I spoke to said he could see I was scheduled for that day (the 4th) and that they would DEFINITELY be there.  So I turned my car around and went home to once again put all the empties out.  Now I was late for work.

Once again, no one showed up.  I called that night and asked to speak to a supervisor.  I was told I was being transferred and then I was disconnected.  When I called back, I received an automated message saying to leave a message.  The next morning I tried again.  Twice I was being transferred to a supervisor and twice I was disconnected.  I finally reached a supervisor who was actually extremely rude.  He asked what my problem was then quickly said "I mean how can I help you?"  All he said was that my account was scheduled to deliver the next day. (Nov 6th) I said that I've been told that before and that this time the bottles needed to be picked up or that I was going to cancel my account and just leave the bottles outside until someone got there.  I said I would not be responsible for the empty bottles.  He began to argue with me and even claimed there was nothing in the system that someone was going to be at my house on the 4th.  He was so argumentative and rude and never offered an apology or resolution for my months of phone calls and inconvenience. 

I told the supervisor that I was done and just wanted to cancel my account.  His response was "you want to cancel? OK.  Thank you.".  The conversation went on and in the end I canceled.  I have yet to see if/when the cooler and empty bottles will be picked up.  

The company is not able to schedule deliveries and stick to it.  Despite the problem being on their end, they are very unapologetic and they do not offer any resolve.  The customer service is horrible and the supervisor I dealt with was flat out nasty.

I have no clue what you are talking about!  I spent many weeks and many phone calls trying to get this resolved.  At no point was I abusive or rude.  And each of the many customer service reps I spoke to can attest to the fact that I was never rude or abusive.  Since the beginning of the calls state the call may be recorded, I'm sure that could be easily confirmed.  I am sure I can also go back to my phone records and document how many times I had to call them to try to get this resolved.  Not to mention the voicemails and calls from one customer service rep for the company who was trying to resolve this.  Very naive of you to think a customer should pay for a service they aren't receiving.

The only thing I expected is that after I escalated it to the "supervisor", it would be handled professionally and politely.  I only expected an apology for the inconvenience. Any decent customer service at any company that provides a service that the customer PAYS for, would have tried to resolve the issue rather than ask what my problem was.  I was never rude or abusive to the supervisor which is why I was so surprised by his attitude from the very beginning.  It was not that they missed one delivery and I complained.  It was months and MANY phone calls.  Then when I simply say I want to cancel my account I get an attitude.  

Your rebuttal sounds quite abrasive and almost threatening in saying that now I caused myself problems and an "ETF" to pay for. No worries. I have everything contact with the company documented.  Clearly you have an affiliation with the company to go on the attack when I discussed my experience.  I thought that was the point of this site.  By the way, check the internet.  I am not the only one with the same experience with the company.

 This is TOO FUNNY!!! How in ANY stretch of the imagination can YOU sit there and expect an apology and compensation when YOU are showing your a*s on the phone?? YOU dont get an apology when YOU are being abusive. Sorry GOD, but us lowly mortals are human beings!! If you p***k us do we not bleed?? If you start in with verbal abuse do we not have the right to tell YOU where to go?? Oh thats right!!! GOD doesnt abuse people. But YOU DO!!! Get over yourself!!! We get it they missed a few deliveries. But thats no reason to cancel. All YOU have done is give YOURSELF a nice fate ETF to pay off. Since YOU cancelled the account, YOU get to pay the ETF!! Maybe if YOU want more then YOU are getting, dont YOU think YOU should actually treat them as YOU would want to be treated?? YOU can sit there and whine all YOU like, the reality is that YOU have done this to YOURSELF!! Oh Im sure YOU are going to try and justify the situation.

People like YOU always try and justify thier actions when THEY KNOW what they did is wrong. YOU went on THIS SITE just for validation of YOUR BS complaint. YOU have screwed yourself and NOW wish to put the blame off on THEM. You know that self entitled attitude of yours is going to continue to cost YOU!!! All YOU had to do was work with them. Its PAINFULLY obvious that they are incredibly busy. As such sometimes YOU have to work WITH THEM, you know instead of making demands ect. All YOU have shown the web is that THEY have a problem with picking up the bottles. And YOU have shown that YOU are a self entitled idjit with more balls then brains. When are people like YOU going to figure out that YOU ARE NOT THAT IMPORTANT!!! YOU think that JUST because YOU are a customer that YOU get the royal and preferred treatment. Well YOU dont. YOU get what everyone else gets. So STOP trying to play the victim. The ONLY entity that has victimized YOU is YOU!!!! With the millions and millions of consumers out there what makes YOU think that YOU get to make demands and be treated better then everyone else.
