Duane lyons had an ad online to finace a home. I messaged him, and made a deal with him which we had in contract. Mr. Lyons could not close on time after he assured me this would be done within a week. In our contract it says he has a 7 day grace period to provide "clear, marketable title." He never showed any proof this was done on time. He knew I was having puppies which required a C-section. By him not closing on time, I could no longer come, and he took advantage of the situation. He told me he would finace a better home when I was able to move in a few months. After the few months he told me about a home in a much better area. I said I was open to it. When the home was finally available on July 1st, 2017 he then requested 50k as a down payment compared to 20 we originally agreed on the first home. I told him he was out of his mind, and Id be going through a bank if that was the case. He said take that or I can rent a home, when in the beginning we had a deal for a "owner financing. " I argued with him over, and over stating if he didnt want to stick to his work kindly return the money. He refused to. Now when I finally decided to just work with him, use my credit to rent. Guess what? He won't even rent to me at all because I have a constant ringing in my ears, and need to medicate with accordance of the prop 215 medical guidelines. Hes picking on someone with a handicap disability. I told him please return my money, and we can go our separate ways. He refuses to do anything to be fair, and meet in the middle. Please dont give any money to this man. Hes a greedy, selfish person. Everything he says is lies. Save yourself the hassle.
