DUCATI OF MIAMI FRAUD SALE- MISREPRESANTATION FALSE STATEMENTS ripoff MIAMI Florida

Finally i found my toy i thought. I was happy, now is a nightmare.

DON'T EVER GO TO DUCATI OF MIAMI TO BUY A USED BIKE ..

You will be Regret.

-since 4/21/2007 until now. i ride the bike only 4 times ,still in service .

Purchase Date : 4/21/2007 pick up date from ducati 4-29-2007

Case description:

I bought an used 1993 Motorcycle -Model ducati paso 907ie the value was over $4000.00 and we negotiate $ 3000.00 PLUS TAX , TAG .ETC.

sales rep- consult with sales manager and she told me for this price i will sale it to you "AS IS " condition but don't worry cause bike is in mechanically good status .

Under the confidence from the sale rep and staff that Motorcycle was in that condition. coming from ducati of Miami , I thought they will never sell a lemon bike (knowing tha lemon only is for new vehicles).
I Decided. Let me buy it! what a dumb move i did.

I remember the day that i was in Ducati of Miami , my wife told me, while you were in the showroom looking around, a service tech show up and told the sales rep-bike is not ready to sale and his face was showing like something was hidden or something was wrong with the bike. My fault. i should it listen to my wife at that moment. Big mistake i did.

Then i paid cash and i said ok. let me take my bike ding dong ding dong

they said you cannot take the bike today because we have to do some paperwork and we have to charge the battery and also we have to gather some information to do the title of the bike. I SAID ,ok . i will pick up my bike after i come back from my business trip .


date 4/29/07 pick up my bike -

4/30/07 all excited with my new toy i was riding and suddenly bike stop working in the middle of street ( paid for towing from to my home ) $120.00 dollars.

Issue - dead battery ( they were suppose to install a good working condition battery -they keep my bike for (one week ) and this happen. Hum.

I bought a new battery and charged correctly -auto part did charged it.

5/01/07

I installed the new battery and i was riding the bike to work and suddenly bike stop working. I PAID AGAIN a towing service $130.00 from middle of street (to)second opinion Experienced service shop located in hialeah Because i decided to have a second opinion before take my bike again to ducati of miami.

After this honest company located in hialeah checked the bike told me

bottom line: I recommend take the bike to ducati and have your money back , this bike has an electrical wire's issue ,some cracked engine and radiator hoses, some welded parts and they fixed the gas tank and he show me the repair work they did. look like the gas tank was leaking and also they did some crankcase work because you can see the seal paste in the surface. Even this honest guy didn't charge me for his service because his experience told me -this is a lemon ,take your money back or you will be regret. I did. every day i regret.

Just if i want to buy a new gast tank cost around 500.00 dollars more

Took my bike towed again from this shop to ducati of Miami and I have to pay again.

Ducati told me don't worry we going to charge the battery and see what is going on. I ask them. why? they didn't told me about the gas tank and they said. don't worry about it, is not a big issue. when i was trying to show them the gas tank and all the other issues -they don't let me do it -they didnt want to uncover the body work (fairings) just one side where the tank don't show the damage and despite the others. about hoses and electrical they said if you have a problem. bring the bike and we will charge you with discount if you have another issue.

I spoke to the manager to take this bike and give me another one.

he said no " i ask him . why ? he said i can't. if they sold me a good working condition bike they should take this bike and work in something else for customer satisfaction.

they call me and said bike is ready ,was only a dead battery and short circuit. short circuit with a fixed gas tank. may be one of this day explote.

may 14, bike stop working again, Gears not working -pay towing service from my home to ducati.

"clutch has no pressure, they told me we going to clean and purge the clutch no charge for you this time "

but now they recomend that i will have to replace clutch slave cylinder.
very soon.

Pick up my bike from ducati and movie continue.

Month -June * bike stop working again. pay towing service from my home to ducati :

Riding bike and suddenly stop working and weird Engine knock noise. they told me we have to dissamble part of the engine to identify problem. service guy told me is going to cost around $1500.00 dollar to replace inside parts from engine. the same ducati tech from ducati of miami told me and suggest, see if you can return the bike and if ducati sales manager talk to the previous owner to take it back because he suspect that the bike was a misrepresentation. I DON'T BELIEVE THAT A COMPANY LIKE DUCATI having all the certified tech's didn't know before about this bike.

What are ducati is going to said now? we sale several consignment bikes and we believe our customers. come on! you have a professional service staff to check all the bikes Before you put this bikes on the floor guys, you knew what you were selling and bid about it. let see who is the dumb a@#%$#% that buy this bike and i DID it. what are nice guy I am.

I SUSPECT A FRAUD AND Misrepresentations of vehicle, I Spoke to the manager since the beggining of problems that take this bike back ( trade -in and let me buy another one, he told me he can't ) then I told him to absorbe some of the repair cost and they said he can't.

NOW..

I took the bike from ducati Miami to an experienced ducati certified service technician and he told me he suspect also bike is a lemon (let use this word for a description instead of Clear Ripp off ) and they knew the bike wasn't in good shape, this guy is a experienced ducati racer technician, my bike is now in his shop. I Trust this guy 100% a lot of good referrals .

How much i have to spend now to get it fix right? between $1500.00 to $2000.00 for engine parts they have to open the ENGINE and also he suspect the bike was crash by behind because frame is not straight. Even worse. I Discovered some lies about ducati of miami. I Found out that other person tried to buy this bike before me and ducati of miami didn't want him to buy because they know him (he 's very experienced ,when we talk about motorcycles ,this guy also request to buy the bike if they put in written that the bike was under service check and working condition. they didn't! ding dong ding dong

GUYS My fault I should it listen my wife that day trust the other repair service guys, friends and don't let my "good soul spirit impulsive ducati wants" to make the mistake to buy FROM DUCATI OF MIAMI.

Gas seal top of tank $ 15.00
new ducati sticker $ 60.00 (gas was leaking and have to replaced it)
New paint for gas tank $ 100.00
day of work lost $ 250.00
frustration of my ducati $ PRICELESS.

If you don't want stress and spend money from your pocket don't go to ducati miami, buy a new one. don't buy used or even check the new ones you never know folks.

Im not looking for money here. I want my bike in perfect condition to enjoy the good spirit of ducati. not a bunch of buitres.
