DUCT DEPOT--DIMITRY Dimitry MY 88 YEARS MOTHER WAS CALLED ONE EVENING BY THIS COMP[ANY AND ASKED IF SHE WANTED HER DRYER DUCT CLEANED FOR $39.00. SHE AGREED AND A THIEF BY THE NAME DIMITRY CAME THE NEXT MORNING. AFTER SPENDING SOME TIME IN THE GARAGE HE HANDED HER A BILL FOR $1364.25. SHE ASKED HIM FOR WHAT? AND STATED HIS OFFER WAS FOR $39.00. SHE WAS ALONE IN THE HOUSE AND HE INISTED HE HAD TO FIX THE HEATING SYSTEM AND LISTED A BUNCH OF THINGS ON A PAPER THAT SHE NEVER ASKED FOR AND HE NEVER DID. SHE TOLD HIM SHE DID NOT HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY AND HE INSISTED. SHE WAS ALONE AND AFRAID SO SHE STARTED TO WRITE A CHECK WHEN HE TOLD HER HE WOULD ONLY ACCEPT CASH . HE INTIMIDATED AND FIGHTENED HER SO SHE AGREED TO TAKE THE MONEY OUT OF THE BANK. HE MADE SURE SHE DID AND WENT WITH HER. THIS IS A DANGEROUS PERSON WHO PREYS ON THE ELDERLY. BEWARE. My mother who is 88 became a victum of fraud.  She was telephoned one evening by a company that asked her if she wanted her vents cleaned for $39.00.  She agreed and DIMITRY came the next day. 

After spending some time in the garage and making several trips back to the van with bags he handed her a bill for $1364.75.  My mother asked him for what you said $39.00?  He told her he did other work and she needed to pay.  She never authorized any other work but the vent and he was in and out in maybe a half hour.  Again he insisted she pay. 

Mother was alone and was frightened of this person, insisting she pay him. She went to give him a check and he said only cash.  She of course didn't have that kind of money and told him so.  He said go to the bank and I'll wait here.  She didn't want to leave him alone in her house so he went with her.

 At the bank he told her to go to the drive in window.  So she did and he got away with $1200.00.  This is a dangerous man and the police are working to find him.  He preys on the elderly.  Beware.

They have no address and operate out of Bergan County.  While trying to find an address I came across this site and found another person the ripped off. For more money then my mother.
